The perfect place for a quick stop or a sit down meal! I got the Marco Polo burger and it came with Mac and cheese and a salad. The burger was the perfect size. Everything is fresh and the staff are super nice. The perfect location too. It’s more than worth it to stop here for a great meal.

This place is a gem located just a few minutes away from Tillamook Creamery. Their veggie patty burger was well-done with the right amount of crispiness and flavor. The side of fries and tater tots were amazing – a perfect combination of crispiness and saltiness. The service was fast, and the person who took our order was friendly and accommodating. She clarified our questions related to vegetarian dietary restrictions and made good recommendations to help us with our order. I was also impressed with how order logistics were tackled through beeper technology. There is a picnic area with a good view, which is something to experience in the right weather.

We were originally going to another food truck in Tillamook, but when that one was closed, we came to Recess, and I’m so glad we did because this was such a chill place to eat! The service was awesome, and the food was really tasty. The tater tots were the crispiest, crunchiest, tastiest tots I’ve ever had in my life. They have a cute picnic area in the back with plenty of space and table to sit and relax while you eat your food. I would highly recommend Recess if you’re looking for a bite to eat in Tillamook!

Food truck on the side of highway 101. The burgers are great. They taste like they are straight from a backyard grill. The burgers come with salad and another side. I chose mac and cheese and I’m happy about it. They use a mix of Tillamook cheese. You can even get a grilled mac and cheese patty to go with your burger patty. My wife got tots for her side and they are perfectly crispy. We made an impulse purchase of a rice crispies treat. It was huge. Definitely home made. The prices are good. I think my full meal burger was $12. It’s a food truck so there is no indoor dining but the parking lot has a nice view and they have picnic tables. We will stop here again.

Burgers were fantastic! The fries and tots were well seasoned and didn’t need any sauce. Recess’s picnic area was fun to eat at. I would recommend everyone check it out. One of our children is celiac They are completely setup for his dietary need. What a plus!

OMG, soooooo good. Who new a food truck this good would be hidden here. The chicken and waffle was amazing. Great options for the whole family. If the weather is nice, they had some outdoor toys (bad mitten and frisbees) to pass the time while you wait.

Delicious hand cut fries and their Carolina BBQ sauce is delicious! I had the double berry salad and subbed a veggie patty for the chicken and it was very good. I thought the veggie patty tasted like it had been deep fried so it was crispy but a bit too oily for my stomach. The salad was full of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries and more than I could eat in one sitting!

OMGOODNESS!! I just started frequenting Recess and now it’s a weekly habit! I’ve tried their Burgers, Wraps and Salads and there is nothing I wouldn’t order again. The fries, ohhhhh the fries, best on the coast if not Oregon…fresh cut! SERIOUSLY DELISH!! I had the Double Dutch Oregon Berry Salad today…you’d be hard pressed to find more bang for your buck and more freshness anywhere close!! It’s enough for 2 meals and OH SO FRESH!! Don’t skip the dessert options you can’t go wrong there either. Staff is amazing and very friendly.
