Manantial Mexican restaurant serves some of the best Mexican food I’ve found in Tennessee (moved here from New Mexico). Ask for the house hot salsa if you want some genuine heat and good flavor. I had the chicken burrito – the meat was tender and tasty. My partner got the mojarra, a whole pan fried fish, which was so good it was quickly eaten down to a small pile of tiny bones. We finished the meal with a sugar and cinnamon dusted, honey and chocolate drizzled sopapilla. It was scrumptious!

It’s the best restaurant in Red Boiling Springs, and we are Sunday regulars. Mexican food is fantastic and their catfish is great too! Very friendly staff and the owner is always out on the floor making sure it’s running smoothly.
