Today is my dad’s heavenly birthday. On his birthday, we would go out for hot dogs and a banana split. He lived in upstate NY, so I wasn’t always able to be there.

I love places like this. Simple menu but yet enough options to want to try everything. I settled in for the Cajun burger and fries with a chocolate coke. All were delicious. Service was very friendly and fast too. Got there not long after breakfast ended so beat the lunch rush.

Small place but the atmosphere is pretty neat. Food is solid, nothing fancy but it’s relatively cheap and filling. I’d imagine it’s a nice place for a date or a get together. I got the Cajun burger and it was a little over cooked but not a big deal. Staff was friendly. If you live in the area it’s a great dinner spot, not really worth traveling for though.

We have loved coming here for years now. I fell in love with the theme the first time I came here. The food is always delicious and nice and hot. Service is always on point especially with Krystal, so attentive and friendly we love her. We can’t wait to keep coming for more years to come.

Fabulous food and sweet waitresses! I love coming to this upbeat, music playing 60’s, large menu restaurant! The lemon pound cake is grandma’s recipe for sure!

My first time here, it was super busy! We got a table within a minute and Service was spot on. The food is really good, it has older music playing to give you the soda shop theme, The service was great and we look forward to going back another time so we can have ice cream 🙂

Purposely fashioned after an old time soda shop, this place has good basic burgers, dogs, and sandwiches – and soda-shop style ice cream. Authentic atmosphere, cute design, oldies music and great family feel. The food is good, but its the atmosphere that sets the place apart.

Fantastic find!!!! What a wonderful restaurant! Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable! All the waitresses checked on us and retrieved whatever we needed. It was a 50s “family” atmosphere! The food was delicious! Our kids enjoyed old timey soda fountain drinks like chocolate and vanilla coke. Their hot fudge sundaes and milkshakes are also awesome! Well worth the drive from Greensboro!

Clean, organized, and great service with a decent diner menu. The fried pickles were great. I thought the burger was way overcooked and dry. I tried the “grilled” potato salad as suggested but the flavor was a bit off (sour cream base) and it came out very oily. The cold potato salad was much better.
