This review of their food, particularly the koobideh kabab. Served with rice and grilled tomatoes to go … awesome. I had some beer nearby and wanted to have some food, it was an awesome combination!

Rose market is an iconic shop/restaurant in Saratoga down town. They have a wide variety of middle eastern food options, and on top of that, you can purchase imported products from the Middle East and other Asian countries such as different teas, candies, and other exotic foods not native to our region. They don’t understand American hospitality so don’t be surprised if they don’t give you too much help when you ask for it. I highly recommend you try the chicken thighs and saffron ice cream.

I used to eat at the Rose Market in Mountain View many times and I loved the food there. I happen to pass by their Saratoga location and I gave them a try. Here the chicken and tomatoes with rice was just okay… the two stars are for a stale baklava, that I was not able to eat. Moreover after I showed it to the server he brought me another one that was the same, except he tried to heat it a bit. So all the batch was stale/old and they should not put it on the shelf.

Currently on a Keto diet so it was good. Typically I enjoy eating a dessert here but had to skip! It’s a decent place for a quick meal. Good for family take out hot meals.

The kebabs here are good. The guy working counter wanted me to order in front of the kitchen area so he doesn’t have to walk 10ft to give the guy the order.

Kobideh beef, bbq chicken breast, and rice are very dry. Beef and chicken have no flavor. Very disappointed with my order today.

The entire staff including the owner are super rude and disrespectful. The entire grocery market is super dirty and the floor is greasy and slippery. This supermarket needs to be inspected by the city immediately. Very surprising that the city allows this place to be open with all dirtiness.

The dish looks like a monster?!! The beef and lamb were better than the chicken dish my wife had. Tables needed some attention, napkin dispensers were grimey and empty. Will still come back. Also, let’s all boycott the styrofoam cups they have out for table water. Cashier says it’s the boss’s choice
