Visited Mr. Tempo for our Mother’s Day Dinner. The atmosphere is very loud and fun. Hope you have good hearing or don’t mind yelling your order. I had a drink special that was a Mango margarita in a take home souvenir cup. I had the tuna tostada that was very delicious and fresh tasting with a side of garlic aioli that had a nice bite to it. My family had various items such as the birria tacos, salmon, a wet burrito, surf n turf tacos, a crunchy roll, Mr. Tempos dirty fries. Everything I tasted was really tasty. They do charge for water. It’s just mr. Tempo water bottles. No kids menu.

Was there a year ago with a colleague and thought food and drinks were great! A year later, back in San Diego with my husband and really wanted to stop for pm drinks to show him the place. Had a really good time again and thought the team looked great! The manager seemed to be doing a great job and was getting his team pumped for a busy night. Planning on coming back with friends for sure! Tacos are delicious and place is beautiful. Staff very friendly/courteous including head of security and professional barman.

The service is friendly and knowledgeable at the outdoor bar. The must order food here is the pork belly bites. They are absolutely mouthwatering, crispy, melt in your mouth 1×1 cubes of happiness! The green sauce that it comes with compliments it perfectly. I also ordered the hot cheeto roll, which I found to be basic.

Fun place, way way too loud, it was extremely difficult even to order because of the sound. I really wanted to give them 4 stars but, just changes the experience with the decibels so high. Excellent service. Tasty food. Gas lamp prices.

Wow I’ve never given such a great review before but this place deserves it! The food was delicious. The drinks were fantastic! And the service! Shout out to Josh for making my first time here an event! If lived closer I would become a regular. Dinner was Worth every dime and a great deal. So amazing, loved it!

You can get a good drink anywhere in Gaslamp but I would stay away from this place. It is extremely loud to where it is not enjoyable at all. Servers were good but hostesses were not accommodating. My group had to wait even with a reservation.

I’m staying in the area on business for a week and just happened to stumble on this place while walking and exploring. The service here was REALLY good. The hostess was super friendly and informative. She even made recommendations for other restaurants in case I was looking for something specific. I saw the Birria Tacos on the menu and couldn’t resist. They have birra burritos and quesadillas and everything lol I also ordered chips and salsa. They serve their chips with a sprinkle of what seemed to be tajín and they’re served with a green tomatillo salsa that was DELICIOUS! Think Chipotle green salsa, but waaay better. The birria tacos were PHENOMENAL! I am super pleased with my visit and I’ll be back to try their brunch menu! Definitely recommend their food and they turn into a bar/nightclub on weekends.
