Steve doesn’t just give you the best food in all of Montauk. He also makes you feel like you’re part of his family. He talks to you with an upbeat attitude and has very funny humor. His food is extremely well priced while being amazing. He definitely has the best lobster roll I have ever had. If you stay at wavecrest, you must go to Steve’s awesome food truck!

Steve is so nice, I’m staying at the wave crest and he remembered my name throughout my stay. All the food I had was pretty good, and Steve is NOT lying when he says he’s got the best (hot) lobster roll in montauk. Highly recommend!

Perhaps the best lobster roll I have ever eaten. Flavorful chunks of lobster in Dewan butter on a buttered, grilled bun. Served with salad + balsamic glaze on the side and French fries. Sweet potato fries were excellent.

I recently paid $56 for a Philly Cheesesteak missing the cheese, and a tasteless lobster roll basically missing the lobster. Add to that the owners I’m doing you a favor attitude, and you can do yourself a Fave and skip the Wave Crave. Update: I was just there and even though I brought my own food my friends and I noticed a much improved and friendlier disposition from Mr. Wave Crave.

Best lobster roll in Montauk. Steve is a gem. I stayed at the Wave Crest and kept coming here every day. The smoothies are fresh and delicious. The mahi wrap is also to die for. Can’t wait to visit Steve next summer.
