This is definitely our favorite restaurant and we order takeout just about every weekend. Wonderful and authentic food, five star service, and wonderful prices. The homemade tortilla chips and rice are a highlight. Last night we ordered tacos and fajitas, which were amazing.

Very nice setting & hospitality. Definitely a place to dine in and be comfortable, although I’ve eaten authentic Mexican food my entire life. I felt like it was not as authentic as I wanted it to be. The tamales were not as firm, and were falling apart and just wasn’t as expected . Horchata was really good though !

Omg, best place ever. The food was terrific, quiet, and clean. The total vibe was great. Wait staff was very attentive. Parking was behind building with no issues. Great place to try, in my opinion, if you’re a foodie! Definitely going again.

I definitely recommend El Tequila, I’m still on a food high. I visited again for the first time since 2019 because I recently moved to the area and I will definitely be a regular. My husband and I had the mole enchiladas, pork tacos, guacamole and homemade tortilla chips, rice and beans. That was the best rice I’ve had in years and I had to tear myself away from it when I was full. Our meal was wonderful, affordable, and satisfying. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and beautiful, and we get our food in a timely manner. Can’t wait to go back.

We kept saying we should really try this place as we drove by a million times. We finally decided to eat here and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious! Portion size was perfect. The prices were reasonable. Will definitely be putting this restaurant in our rotation.

Their Enchilada tres amigos is THE BOMB !!!! I will never go anywhere else for it in the area. And customer service is always kind! All their other food there is delicious too.

This resturant has good food but beyond awful customer service. They never answer the phone for take out. I often call to order food and end up going to little jalapeño in Barrington instead due to their poor business practices. Good food but not worth it.

Of the entire Runnemade area, it is the best restaurant that has authentic Mexican food, I work 5 minutes from the place , and all the people at my work always have good opinions about the food and the service, a super clean place and the customer service is excellent, I recommend this place.
