Hmmm this is one those hard reviews to write. We stopped in here while running errands. Walking in the atmosphere wasn’t the greatest. Was dark in the eating area. The main light area was mainly at the front counter and they deserved the spot light for sure. The family that runs this place def care and have amazing customer service. We order our pizza and cheese fries and grab our sodas. They mainly have two liters and can soda. Which is fine. Now the inside maybe little out dated but def the surround windows and looking out at the colebrook railroad is really fun. And it seems to help bring in patrons to there place.

This place is ridiculous anymore. I don’t believe it is the same owners. Their prices are outrageous. We ordered online, and our dinner was delayed almost two hours. My husband had to call to see what was going on. They were told that the online place didn’t give them our order. Said they would take our order over the phone. Stated it wasn’t their fault that the online service didn’t give them our order. Didn’t offer compensation of any kind or to just even take off the appetzers or anything. Prices were outrageous and were advised that they are updating the menu with higher prices as they state the prices we see were prior to Covid. $105.00 for 2 appetizers, 2 pizzas, and a large Stromboli. If you pay with a credit card that cost you more money also. Ridiculous and won’t be returning and they used to have our business for years. Highley upset with this place compared to how it was!!

When we walked in, 2 of the booths were occupied. There was a man at each one. We placed our order at the counter and went to find a booth that the air conditioner would cool off. As we were waiting for our pizza, both guys that were in the booths got up and went back to the kitchen. Apparently they worked there. The fact that they were slow enough to be able to sit around at 1:15 in the afternoon on a Sunday should have been a clue. The booths were dirty and sticky. The pizza was average. The prices were average. With all the pizza joints available in Boyertown, Carmelo’s needs to step up their game.

I tried the Italian Hoagie (foot long) last weekend. It was delivered on time and, the hoagie itself, was amazing. As I unwrapped it, the great aromas hit me; fresh onion, sweet and ripe tomatoes. And the thing was huge, well over 12 inches. It reminded me of the hoagies we’d get in Philadelphia when I was a kid. Great bun and fresh lunch meat also. So, yesterday I ordered one again and had the same great experience which prompted me to pen this review.

Pizza was good! Crust was cooked just right, little bit of crisp but not hard. There is small indoor seating.

Paid for two pizzas with 3 toppings, recieved 1 with what I paid for. Way to rip off your customers 5 dollars, and consistently mess up orders. First time in over a year of trying them and nothing has changed

I have only ever ordered pizza from this place and wow!, their pizza is so good. No need to ever order extra cheese from this place. They certainly don’t skimp on the toppings. My son and I rave about this place. This place could get your waistline and wallet into trouble! Looking for some good pizza in the area? You won’t be disappointed ordering from Carmelo’s.

Ordered a veggie Stromboli which came burnt and didn’t include the extra cheese i paid for nor a single tomato or olive which it claims should be in it, it was basically a mushroom Stromboli. Also mozzarella sticks were dry and old tasting with not much cheese in them and the smallest slice of cake ever. They didn’t even have the soda I ordered, and had to give me something else. This was a thurs night not even a weekend so unsure why the awful quality.

Grate place to get a good pizza with a cheep price of two bucks per slice, my only complaint is that it is sometimes hard to understand the guy who is taking your order, but that dose not diminish the quality of the food or the atmosphere. TL:DR Great food, great quality, nice people. Can’t wait to go back again.
