This was only our second time eating at Garofola’s Italiano, but they have now become our go-to Italian restaurant in the Charlotte area. It’s not real fancy, but still really nice. Good sized and very clean. The wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable and caring and the food excellent.

We have only been in the restaurant once and got a pizza and it was great! We decided to try them again and get it delivered and got a pizza with spaghetti with meat sauce and it came with meat sauce! The food was piping hot and tasted amazing just like we were in the restaurant!

Food was okay. Nothing bad, but nothing great. Everything tasted homemade, but at the same time didn’t taste like it was seasoned enough. Either way they have a lit of options to choose from. The fried cheese raviolis were really good, along with the garlic knots. Staff was super firendly and made you feel right at home. I’d good back to try something else on the menu.

Very disappointed in the food. I ordered a Dianne’s salad, large Spaghetti and meatballs, child’s gnocchi with marinara sauce and it came with a meatball, garlic knots and 7 count garlic knots. The gnocchi was awful as was the sauce. It tasted like it was straight out of a can. The gnocchi was floury, no firmess to it. The spaghetti and meatballs were likewise tasteless and for a large portion, it was woefully small. The salad – really, canned beets? The garlic knots and cheese bread were good but they are hard to mess up. I know to the cost of food has gone up and this is why prices have increased, but with those increased I still expect the have tasty meal offerings and it doesn’t escape me that the portions have gone down in size too. I have ordered from here a few times before for friends who were I’ll and couldn’t get out. This time I thought we would try it ourselves. I’m not sure I want to take another chance.

Pizza was super delicious & full of flavor, I just wish it had more toppings. We got an all in one pizza but it just seemed like there was one piece of each topping per slice. The garlic knots could be a bit more flavorful but the marinara sauce they were served with was one of the best sauces I’ve had

Food is great. Never really had an issue until today. Man and his 2 children were in the dining room when we went in. It was only us and them. He wasn’t paying attention to his children. He was on the phone a lot and told the kids he was working. They were all over the dining room and being wild. We could not have a peaceful meal. If I was the manager, I would have spoke to the man and had him take control of his children. We will go back, but I think this should have been handled!
