I came here for lunch as a recommendation while visiting for work. This is SUCH a cool place! Service was incredible, food phenomenal (taste & price), and the decor was a whole vibe. Glad I stopped in! I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Richmond again.

I was in town visiting my son and his family when we decided on a late lunch at Bar West. We got the delicious nachos as well as the pimento cheese as appetizers. Both were delicious! We also had frozen cocktails, and they hit the spot, as it was nearly 100 degrees that day. Our sandwiches, though we weren’t able to finish them, were wonderful as well. Our service was very good, and the food was out quickly. Highly recommend!

Went there tonight with my twin toddlers. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, the food was deliciousssss, and they actually had healthy options on the kids menu!! (My toddlers enjoyed the salmon, fruit, and veggies). Plus the wine & cocktails were so yummy. 10/10 recommend.

Bar west was so good! It is very cute inside, and the food was amazing! I really enjoyed the drinks too! I went in between brunch and dinner and the menu was smaller but everything was perfect. The menu for dinner is so appealing and I will definitely be back.

Fav part is the vibe. From the lighting, murals, to the covered patio and fireplace. On point. My 4yo loved the kids menu and ate both chicken tacos. Already looking to coming back with my wife for date night!

I felt a little under-dressed in my shorts and t-shirt given what other patrons were wearing, but I wasn’t made to feel that way by any of the staff. I sat at the bar and Elijah took good care of me. He made a really nice mojito. I stopped in because I had heard good things about the butter flight appetizer. The basket of bread came with three different soft spreadable butters. An espresso (on the sweet side), a truffle, and a garlic herb. All were good, but the truffle was my favorite. I also had an edamame salad that was enjoyable as well. In all, my bill was just under $30

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Richmond. The food was top notch and the drinks were perfect. Everyone needs to eat here. Hit up their website to make a reservation or just grab a seat at the bar. The staff was super polite. Can’t wait to go back.
