I have tried many fried chicken and cheese fries. But believe me this one is so beyond about taste and quality wise. I will go and eat again & again for sure. You should go and try too.

Ordered 2 Chicken tacos and an Pupusa. The tacos were good, the pupusa was excellent I got the pepperoni and cheese one. I’ll be eating here more often since it’s so convenient since I live right up the street from it. But I wouldn’t recommend the Pernil rice plate my girlfriend didn’t like it like that Due to (over seasoned pernil and underseasoned beans )

Modest hole in the wall, counter service and takeout with a few tables to eat in. Fried chicken was moist and crispy, the pupusas were the best I’ve ever had, and the banana pudding has slices of real banana. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and helpful, he explained the menu to us and made sure we had everything we needed. House made hot sauce, sauces, and toppings were on point. So glad we stumbled into this place.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this place! The enchiladas verde are amazing. Also we had the pupusas and were really good. The birria needs some more flavor but nothing they cannot fix. The drinks are so good as the price . Definitely will come back from Boston!

I only ate the chicken empanadas. And they are the ones that you fry yourself at home. They taste freezer burnt. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED I don’t even won’t the give them one star. I should have walked to down town FOR WAY BETTER .. I will never again waste my money on this place . I’m so disgusted

Wow- their pupusas are SO good! We also got their wings (crispy & delicious) their sweet plantains (different than I’m used to, but tasty) and Puerto Rican rice. Service was quick and friendly! Cute and clean establishment

Ordered Birria tacos but they didn’t come with the dipping liquid, which felt like a huge disappointment . Also ordered plantains. looks like they were forgotten in the fryer , super black ..

I’m sitting here waiting for my food and I’m already excited to eat the food! Making pupusas fresh minutes before closing!… Nothing better. I appreciate small establishments that appreciate and treat every patron like family.

Ordered the pork and cheese popusa. Made at time of ordering. Therefore nice and hot. Very good. Authentic. My friend ordered carne asada tacos, which also were really good. I notice a lot of orders were made for pick up. We actually ate there but it is a small dining space so maybe best to order for take out. I honestly want to try other items on their menu. Their menu has a huge variety of choices. Seems like it’s a couple running the place. Might need at some point to get additional help. Over all again, I want to try other items on their menu so definitely will be back.

I was over the top excited about this place as my esposa LOVES a good papusa and I enjoy a solid crispy flaky chicken spot that is resemblance of a somebody’s southern grandmother’s fried chicken. Well one of us is please while the other is still on fence. The place makes the food when ordered – so it was hot when picked up. The chicken was crispy. Noticeably crispy. A pause and reflect on life crispy. The crisp that a is missing at popeyes and KFC. The crisp is an in the kitchen crisp that was absolutely welcome in this jungle of food places to eat. To put it plainly – the chicken was good. (The real test will be tomorrow- if it has that cold chicken goodness that a properly fried chicken has). Now to the papusa. It is not like my Suegra’s. Nor like the spot that use to be on Hancock that closed 4 years ago. Maybe comparable to the El Salvadorian place in Hartford Ct. Maybe. The esposa was not wowed more amazed by it. She enjoyed it but did not have that – family from New York come and try it. The place on Hancock was like that. The rice and beans needed another 5 minutes on the stove. Will I be back?? Yes. I am all about supporting local places – the hope next time some things will be better with other remaining the same. Where else can you get a papusa in Springfield?!
