Veggie burger and cheese, lettuce wrap, add fresh avocado with a side of tempura green beans – it’s my Go-To meal when I’m hungry and don’t feel like cooking. Outside seating is great, even has heaters for when it’s cold. The lady who took our order was super patient, helpful and perky.

I was so excited to try the new chicken and grilled asparagus salad and it did not disappoint! It was so flavorful and the balsamic On it was so delicious and Moist that I did not need any additional dressing. My husband got the Cobb salad and we split some french fries for a splurge. The restaurant was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful and when they forgot the avocado on his salad they quickly remedied that and added it for us. We love this restaurant and will continue to go there at least once a month.

It’s somewhere above McDonald’s and below a restaurant. They have recently expanded their menu to contain chicken and impossible burgers. It’s worth a try. It’s around $15 for a meal, but it’s pretty good food.

I ordered a salad which I’ve had many times before. I ordered through the app and when i picked up my salad it was in a sandwich container. This container was obviously much smaller (roughly half) the size of the salad bowl. I asked why the container was so small and was told they were out of bowls. Then as i explain how the bowl is visibly larger, 2 of the people in charge told me i was wrong and “its the same weight”. At the same time, they pointed at the stack of bowls on the counter while explaining its the same size (woops). After long day at work I left very frustrated and after getting home and tossing the salad i refused to think this was the same amount of food. I went back to the store, asked them to hand me the bowl and i poured the salad into the bowl which ended up only filling up about half way. I asked the management to explain to me how i was wrong about the amount of food and i was again told it’s the same amount! I argued that the bowl is usually completely full, not half. So i asked why i didn’t get a bowl which they clearly had a visible stack on the counter and i was told they didn’t have lids so it would need to be plastic wrapped to cover it. Ok fine, so They remake the salad and even put a lid on the bowl. The guy then takes the bowl to the back and wraps it in plastic. I ended up getting a full bowl with a lid and plastic wrap! What’s going on here? I absolutely love the habit and tell everyone about how it’s my favorite place. Giving a 1 star is not what i want to do but this is completely uncalled for. I wrote a review like this before i went back to the store. As they made my salad i felt bad and deleted the review. Now that i can see i was completely lied to by two of the management after being told i was wrong, this review is completely necessary. The habit is great but this is beyond the food, they purposely gave me a smaller portion and refused to own up to it after proving them wrong.

Decent food, but I always thought they were a little cheap-orders of fries and tempura green beans seemed small, even if you ask for ranch when you order they don’t put it in the bag, etc. Last time the green beans really looked small, I weighed them and they were barely half of the size they state in their nutritional info. I notified The Habit through their website twice, get automated answers but no follow up.

There’s a reason this Habit doesn’t have 5 stars. Every time I eat here I have a bad experience. A few months back, my son asked for more ketchup and the girl who works there, scooped up about 30 packets, slammed them on his tray and walked away. Half the packets fell off of his tray and onto the floor. It was quite the scene. During another visit, I forgot to put my mask on when I entered the restaurant and an employee told me to put it on. I apologized and quickly took the mask out of my pocket to put it on. The employee said, “a lot of good it does there”. Today was the last straw. Not only did I order 45 min in advance and end of waiting curbside for a long time but the employee who brought out the food had an attitude, gave me a dirty look and said something under her breath. To add insult to injury, the fries were lukewarm and soggy. The burgers were cold, the buns were squashed and they hardly had any lettuce in them. On top of that, I ordered online and they also got the order wrong. You can tell the order was rushed. That was my very last visit. After many years of being a loyal customer, I will no longer be eating at the Habit. I’ll just drive a few more miles out and go to In n Out.
