I enjoyed I believe me and my dad came on he 2nd opening night and I enjoyed the experience however my dad wasn’t impressed with the chips and believe there should be quality chips straight out of the oven to release the oil and give a better crisp. I believe yes it deserves better attention to better quality chips but overall no complaints on the food thought and the green salsa is superb !!! Also you guys should seriously focus on to-go orders as it would highly increase retention and of course more profit …thanks and although it was the 2nd night I can’t complain when the operations went well ..other than the servers at the bar confused at who was the serving server well my dad was confused but he tipped the one who served us better.again great job !! Fix those things and I see a long term establishment…

Joshua was awesome! Beautiful restaurant. Super kind staff. Delicious food. Kids loved it. Despite what ive read in another review, the chips were neither stale nor an after thought. And they are guaranteed gluten free and made from scratch. Everything made in house is made fresh and replenished throughout the day even down to in-house butchering of every piece of meat that is on the menu. Hand rolled taquitos with homemade chicken and cheese filling, in-house smoked ribs that fall off the bone, hand-breaded stuffed avocado, all the way down to peeling and deveining jumbo gulf shrimp in preparation for the bacon wrapped del mar platter. The love that goes into the food is evident. This is a new restaurant and from what ive been told- togos will be available soon full time. Establishing the To-Go business a few weeks after the restaurant gets their dine-in services perfected is a pretty common business practice in other new restaurants, just fyi. They are guest-focused 100% of the time and the management is personable and truly grateful for every person that walks in. Price points are great, staff is amazing, parking isnt the greatest but thats the developers not the restaurant. Dont take anyones word for it- experience it yourself. Oh and fun fact- just because it says Tamale in the name doesnt mean Tamales are their only game 😉
