Online menu showed the had Mexican food and they didn’t have any. 4 of us came in for that. One ordered a hamburger and chicken sandwich both not very good. We ordered the pizza which was good. Won’t go back again. Will go to shipwreck and get wet burrito. Did not see the pot pies.

We visited Curtis for the 906 festival (it was really just an excuse to go up north) and then debated between going to Tally Ho or the Shipwreck. The pics of Tally Ho showed arcade games and we had kids so we went there. There were NO arcade games; they were apparently replaced by MI lotto games (not helpful for kids). We still ate there but it took FOREVER. The food was what you’d expect from a bar. Not gross, not spectacular; the kids were satisfied. That said, it took about 40 mins for them to rake our order. We ordered a pizza, 2 burgers and a BLT. We were so hungry, my husband ate half of his BLT before before we were able to ask for mayo (which we asked for when ordered). I could tell the guy serving us was trying, but they must not have had the staff. We were there almost 2 hours total. Everything took so long and there were many drunk ppl. It’s more of a bar than a restaurant. So if you’re looking to hang for a while, this might be for you but if you have kids, maybe try another place.

Small town charm at its finest. This place was closed last year. So as a big group we weren’t sure if they were open this year.

Both the drinks and food was top notch. The service was a little slow but im not complaining because that day he had only him and whoever was in the kitchen. I would go here again, they also have different specials each day which is pretty cool too.

Beautiful, home town vibe bar. Friendly staff, colorful locals, and best of all (for me, at least) is that they always have the Upper Hand on tap.

The Mexican food had almost no flavor at all. one meal came with none of the sides it was suppose to. Two other meals were missing one of the sides and the only meal that came with the sides had maybe a spoonful of them. HUGE waste of $70! The poor lone waitress was as quick as she could possible be.

We went to the Upper Peninsula for an annual fishing trip. Last year we went also and thought it was pretty good but this year was AMAZING! I didn’t know what I was tasting. It felt like heaven. The greatest pat about it was that it was just in the little town of Curtis! I will never in my life taste and feel so much JOY. I’m looking forward to next year!
