Many years ago, I lived in Lynwood,CA, and would eat here. We were in the area today and thought we would see if it was still as good as in the 80s, and yes, it is!! Family owned, and we used to eat in the one in Norwalk, CA, before it closed(90’s & 00’s)when the building was sold. Miss Jose and his son from Norwalk.

Menudo isn’t the greatest. Not as flavorful as other places. Also pretty pricey to be paying to go and not get a proper hot soup spoon to eat it. Spoon was small and almost melting.

Don’t let the two stars fool you! the food is very good the only problem is they have let the place let go 🙁 I been coming here for years and the place looks very torn down I know it’s hard to keep it up but I think more clients will stay and enjoy the meals… BUT food is GREAT ***** for that!

Worst menudo ever, had red one, very blend, strong smell. They need to wash meat better before cooking. The portion was little for a large size. The coffee was awful. They need to clean coffee pot and not use tap water. Spent $20.00 on a half full bowl of menudo and bad coffee
