Hubby was craving hot dogs this evening and I let him choose where we’d eat tonight and he chose Mak Mama’s. Let me tell y’all something….before we even ordered the food the love, appreciation and energy Miss Mak shared with us was all I needed! The owner is so sweet, friendly and loves her clientele! She loves what she does and it shows. We ordered Coneys, chili cheese fries, wings and a deluxe chicken pita. EVERYTHING was delicious! We had absolutely no complaints. Thank you all for the warm, genuine welcome and delicious food. We will definitely be back to just bask in the love and good company!

This place is amazing! from perfect customer service to great food. Everything was outstanding and pleasant. The food is 100% authentic and if you’re from Detroit you will not be disappointed at all. Mama Mak has a great spirit just so sweet and friendly. The customer service from everyone stood out so much I wanted to leave a review before I ate lol. The food was amazing I got a corn beef sandwich with chili cheese fries and my husband got the wingdings, we ate all of it before we left the parking lot. We will be returning!

The experience was great. The owner was super kind and made us feel welcome. The bread was a bit soggy at the bottom on the philly cheese steak sandwich, but the flavor was good. The texture of the fries was perfect and they weren’t too salty. The mushroom swiss burger was tasty. I’ll have to try some wings and other fried options when I come back. Great job!

The service was super friendly and the place is clean. Portions are very generous and you won’t leave hungry. I had the wing plate my best friend had the open faced Philly. I highly recommend you try both because they were so delicious. I will be back for the mushroom Swiss burger and a beer as soon as they get their liquor license. This place is a hidden Killeen gem.

I have been trying to catch this place opened for three weeks until I finally got out to read the sign. Hours change with the weather we’ll how rude! I understand when you don’t have the staff but you make your own hours. The Philly cheesesteak was horrible. I was so sick the day after I vomited for what seemed like hours. The grease was so much at the bottom of the dish I had to use napkins to soak it up. I’ve had my share of Philly cheesesteaks sandwiches and never have I ever had one this overpriced and disgusting. The seasoning was over powered. You don’t let seasoning overpower your food. I know seasoning can make or break your dish and this one broke the mold. I won’t ever order Philly cheesesteaks sandwich again the cook or restaurant recipe person should go back to the drawing board with this one. Philly cheesesteaks is meant to be original and authentic this sandwich was beyond original or authentic. Nothing wrong with different but $14 for a greasy death sandwich nah I’ll pass. The fries were over cooked as well it doesn’t take long to overcook fries. When you lift the sandwich it falls apart due to the amount of grease in the bottom. I get wanting to be there for your grandkids or kids but that little girl has no business behind the counter. No only is she a child she’s a hazard and anything could happen with her behind the counter. Teach them while there young it’s not the 17th century you can’t put kids to work for fun when you have mandated laws
