This is the 2nd Thai flavor restaurant I’ve tried in Des Moines. We ordered Curry related dish, and it’s very tasty. Our server is very friendly, she even created a cocktail drink based off my preference (off the menu), and it was very creative. The bluish color and right amount of malibu and coconut tropical flavor were a huge plus. They have patio seats with very clean and nice view, it’s perfect for a summer date.

First time eating here. It was delicious! The food was hot and fresh. Their happy hour extends until 7 pm which is later than most. We’ll definitely be back!

I got the chicken pad thai level 2 and the chicken and shrimp healthy rolls. Both were delicious! I ordered to go and I waited only 5 minutes! I want to try everything on the menu!

Came for valentines. Very impressed with this location. Excited they had kimchi fried rice. The spice level is 0-6. I went with 3 since it was my first time at this location. The waitstaff was so cute dressed for valentines. Reasonable prices for lunch and dinner. Creative drink specials for Valentine’s ♥️

We were out with friends and wanted to try somewhere new to eat. We walked in with modest expectations and we were immediately aware that we were in for a treat. Every dish and every interaction with staff exceeded our expectations. For me it was the best Thai food I’ve eaten in the Midwest. We will be regulars from now on.

I wasn’t impressed with the food at all. It was my first time going to this location, I have been going to the other for several years and I made the mistake of assuming the food/dishes would be the same, they clearly weren’t. My food arrived looking & tasting completely different than expected but the waitress looked and spoke to me like I ordered the wrong thing and I didn’t know what I was ordering, like I was just stupid. I got another item, a common item it still wasn’t good. I actually spoke to an old friend who worked there as I walked out and she informed me that the sauces are completely different at both locations and several people have complained that are used to the original location. I mostly didn’t appreciate how the waitress insisted they were the same and it was me. The location is nice on the inside, and my son loved his Sushi.

It was easy to make many of the dishes there vegan, and I definitely recommend trying the mock duck in a noodle dish. The presentation is good, and the servings are generous. You can get the spice level made to your specifications, and they are easily able to remove ingredients from a dish. The noodles were made to perfection, and the sauce was flavorful.

Thai Flavors (on Ingersoll specifically) has been one of my fav spots to eat in the dsm area for quite a while now. I recommend it to everyone. However, the last two times I’ve gone the food just wasn’t good. Tonight I had pad Thai and the healthy spring rolls, and the pad Thai was super dry and they gave me no peanuts or lime. The healthy rolls were falling apart before I even ate any and they had celery in them which was just not good. I’ve never had a roll like that with celery in it before it was like all I could taste.
