Great service and atmosphere. The food was not bad, but nothing extraordinary. The view was incredible. I liked the cocktail bar experience before we were seated in the digning room.

We went for lunch on a beautiful sunny day, and the views of the Long Beach coastline from our table were spectacular. Plus, our meal, service, coffee, and especially the bowl of clam chowder was scrumptious.

Everything we tried was so perfectly prepared and delicious. The view of Long Beach Harbor at sunset and turning to darkness as the city lights go on… stunning and very rom! This is not the cheapest place in town but it really is worth the cost.

While the service and food at the restaurant itself were great, we were displeased when we showed up for our reservation and we’re surprised with a $10 admission fee per person just to get on the ship to get to the restaurant. No where on the website or on Open Table does it state you must pay to get in to dine.

My wife and I was told it would be a 40-minute wait. We’re staying at the Queen Mary (35th Wedding Anniversary) it was 7:00pm and we were too hungry to go some place else. We waited for over an hour to be seated and the waiter was absolutely terrible. All the waiter did was refill our glasses with Warm tap water. The food finally arrived and was cold. Again, the waiter never came back to our table. The waiter came back at the end and asked if we wanted dessert. I told him our food was cold, and had he checked on us earlier I would have told him so. He just walked away.

The clam chowder and raw oysters were good enough, but the pan roasted halibut was teeny and dry and tasteless, and my brother’s steak was cooked incorrectly. I don’t really think restaurants should charge for bread, but this one does, and it’s not that good. It was impossible to get the waitress’s attention while we were eating. Nice view though.

Let’s begin by saying you get an unpleasant surprise at the door by a *brand new* $24 fee per person to get to the restaurant. A fee that had not been mentioned anywhere by anyone until minutes prior to our reservation when we arrived. In case you get past this hidden and exploitative fee, I can tell you the food is ok for the price. The servers are nice, but the other staff not so much. The overall experience however turns out to be overrated and overpriced, unfortunately, and I would not recommend and will not return.
