Very friendly. Lady here is a sweetheart. Had a Campechana and though the ingredients differ from my own recipe, it was still great. The shrimp were nice size and the cilantro, onions, pepino…all tasted crisp and fresh. I will be back to try other items from the menu. The fresh fried tortilla chips were warm and delicious…and their salsa is 8 out of 10 for flavor, with just the perfect amount of spice. Hope to be working in the area again soon.

Wife and I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a couple beers while waiting for our car to be fixed at the jiffy lube across the street. We were super surprised at how good it was! Great flavor and about $15/20 total. Food was $13 and $2/3 for each beer.

No prices up, should of asked first, 2 fish tacos w/ Rice and beans and a large shrimp cocktail, $34.45. I about fainted. Fish tacos tasted different than anything I have ever had. Won’t ever go back. Good service though, but won’t be going back at that price. Feeling gouged !!!

This place is a hidden gem. I’ve been coming here for 20 years and the food is fantastic. It’s flavorful and very well cooked. The service here is amazing as well; they treat you like family and gives you a homey feel. There’s no other place in San Diego that serves authentic and fresh Mexican food and seafood like Costa Azul Mariscos. I recommend this place to anyone who comes around Imperial Beach!
