Last night was my first time here… Stopped in to meet up with some friends because it was a central point for us. We started with a drink at the bar, and the drinks were well made. It was busy though, so we barely got seats. They had a nice selection of wines and liquors… I didn’t really look at the beer choices.

This place is lovely. From the happy hour and the chic little bar to the octopus appetizers.

Definitely a 4.5 star place, from our first visit. We had wonderful starters (tuna tartare and octopus), entree (burger, cod and scallops) and desserts. The waiter has a good sense of humor, and it was a lovely enjoyable experience. We shall be back, hopefully many more times if we continue to be happy with this restaurant. We shall definitely try the prime ribs on a Sunday.

We have returned about 4 times now and have never been disappointed. Dare I say we consider this our new go-to place. Great food, service and atmosphere. If you have a low riding sports car you might want to park across the street due to the steep driveway entrance or you risk dragging bottom.

We went on a rainy Monday evening. The restaurant was not super busy but we were by no means alone. Service was prompt and friendly, but never pushy. Everyone (there were four of us) enjoyed their meals. Monday night is craft beer night, this time featuring a New Jersey brewer, so the beer was worth trying. They have other drink specials on other weeknights. No room for dessert or coffee so can’t comment on those.

We stopped for a late lunch here because we had attended an estate sale locally and my wife spent her early childhood years in Martinsville in the early 1960’s. We were happily greeted and parking was easy and onsite. The menu had a surprisingly varied selection and was well written. Our choices were a pan seared salmon with rissoto and asparagus, and a meatball sandwich with homemade seasoned fries. I had 2 excellent cups of coffee. Our servers were both friendly and expedient. Pricing was very reasonable at about $30 + gratuity. The restaurant’s atmosphere was pleasant and background music not to load. We left very pleased and would recommend this well thought out eatery to all. Although no youngsters were present for our dinner, I see no reason why a family wouldn’t have a great dining experience here. Bon apetit! ✌

Great place really nice decoration. food is great but there needs to be a no cell phone policy. we sat next to a family with a young boy that no body engaged or spoke to as he glazed over on his moms phone. I wanted to invite him to my table to talk (thats what good food and family do) ruined my night not because of food because of lack of family. very sad
