The blonde bartender was super friendly and sweet (sorry i forgot your name) food was hot portion size was perfect and drinks were cold. Prices were very reasonable. Great little place. We’ll be back!

Met family members for lunch. Had a pork tenderloin sandwich a d potatoes salad. Sandwich was on a bun and was over the side of the bun. Food was good and reasonably priced.

We didn’t eat here but everyone else was eating. It is a small place along the highway in a real small town. Most every patron is a local person. They all brag about the food, especially the Friday fish.

They’re remodeling right now and they say it’s going to be really nice inside I’ve only had the fish dinner once and that was very very good they are closed on my only day off but it will be nice when they get all done remodeling and open back up

Stopped there after a short hiking trip to Matthiessen hiking trail for refuel. I ordered homemade tenderloin and it was awesome. My friends ordered a couple of burgers. We also took some beers. Service was very friendly. If I go there for another hiking trip to Starved Rock State Park, I would love to stop by there definitely.
