Came in d/t reviews. 1 star to me is inedible, and i can eat anything. I ate this so it should be 2, but the chicken was a solid mass. No knife, only the cheap floppy carry out forks. So i had to shred it with those, or eat it like a crunchwrap.

Delicious and consistent good quality food! Family owned and operated. The Kung Pao Chicken or Shrimp and Hot and Spicy Chicken/Shrimp are great! Best part is the protein in those two and some more dishes like Lo Mein etc. is not fried unlike many other local Chinese places. Protein to vegetable ratio is also very good.

Great food! We’ve been eating take-out from New China for 8 years and have never had a bad experience. The General Two’s chicken is awesome, the pork fried rice is great, and the Spring Rolls are the bast ever. Suggest ordering online, then pick up your order. It’s usually ready in 15 minutes. This is the only place we go to for great Chinese food.

A great little Chinese restaurant that is perfect for takeout, and they have about four tables if you wanted to dine in. The food has always been consistently good, and they can tailor dishes to order as I don’t like cooked green pepper and they will readily leave that out and substitute with other vegetables. Staff are friendly and the location is so convenient being next to a grocery store in the heart of a subdivision.

The food is extremely fresh and ready quickly. Such a great place for take out right in the neighborhood!

On the positive side, the portions are large; that’s pretty much where the positives end. Orange chicken was about 90% batter. The “chicken” in the chicken noodle soup was barely edible. Kids enjoyed the white rice, haha. Can’t recommend this spot.

This is the best Chinese American food in the area. Best egg rolls in middle Tennessee. Best spot.

I’m so sad to have to write this as this place has always been our go to for a specific vegetarian dish. About 3 weeks ago we ordered our usual (same order for the last 3 years) broccoli with garlic sauce- add tofu.. once we start eating, we immediately knew something was off. The only way to describe it is it tasted like motor oil? I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they fried the tofu in some old oil that needed to be changed. We called the restaurant, they offered to replace it for free at our next visit and we were happy with the results. Fast forward to today… I picked up the exact same order and had high hopes that we were back on track with our favorite dish. Disappointment punched me right in the face at the first bite! Same motor oil taste as if they are using three month old oil for frying or some other liquid ingredient has gone rancid and they are continuing to use it for the sauce. Not sure what it is, I just can’t put my finger on it. All I know is that someone is going to get sick eating that mess! I’m just going to cut my losses as I can’t stomach another putrid plate of the same food, even if they offer to replace for free. I really hope that they make changes soon and pay attention to all of the recent negative reviews. Seems the place is going downhill fast and unfortunately we won’t be back for a while, if ever 🙁
