We had a great experience at this place. If you are looking for an authentic Jewish delicatessen and sandwich shop this one is a good bet. We ordered the five W. Orange and the South Orange sandwich. They were both super fresh and on excellent Rye bread. We also took home some bagels which were amazing, as well as some bagel chips. The French fries came out super and although I’ve seen Price as an issue at this place, And it is an issue at every place lately, the quality of the food and quantity was well worth the price. They have Brown’s sodas which I personally have always loved since trying them for the first time in New York City when I was small. Pretty cultured for a Puerto Rican from Jersey. LOL. The place had great atmosphere and the service was fast. There is on street parking as well as a few public parking lots available close to this place. There is outdoor seating both on the side of the building as well as in the front. The place overall was wheelchair accessible and they have a big family style bathroom which could be considered accessible. Give it a try if you are in the Milburn area which includes the surrounding towns of, union, West Orange, short Hills and Elizabeth or the other oranges are not far off. I believe they close at 3 PM so it’s more like a breakfast brunch and lunch place.

I ordered on door dash and I’ve never had an issue before, they sent me the wrong bagel and on top of that I found hair In the bagel, two pieces of brown hair. I felt like vomiting, whoever is working there isn’t covering their hair. This is unhygienic, I called to speak with a manager and she was nice. Hopefully this never happens to anyone else

Found the nostalgic bagel shop/deli I was looking for. In from Colorado for a family event. Wanted a nostalgic meal from growing up in NY/NJ. Couldn’t have asked for better. The bagel was terrific and the pastarmi was on point.. thanks for taking me back to my childhood.

I don’t know where they get their bagels but they are some of the best bagels hands down and their omelettes are exactly how you want them every time

Called in order.. still had to wait until I told the teenager that if it is not ready. Then cancel the order. It was sitting on the prep station. Cold. It was one of the worst Flagyl sandwiches I have. Will think twice before going again

Food was okay, decor was great, the fresh squeezed OJ was delicious, the service could definitely improve abit. I don’t know if I caught the server/cook/guy taking the order on the wrong day, but definitely alot of attitude for no reason. ♂️

Very good breakfast sandwich. This place has what’s called a flagel which from what I understood to be a regular bagel just thinner. Pictured is a flagel with bacon egg and cheese. Very good place to stop for a quick bite.

The best bagel you’ll ever have. The nova platter is where it’s at. I’ve tried tons of places in NYC, none of them compare to this place
