Visited Las Fuentes while traveling to pick up my boat. The atmosphere was ok, and the indoor playground for kids was a nice touch, however, half of the lights were off in our portion of the restaurant and chairs were still stacked.

If you are a big fan of pineapple, Pineapple fajitas is highly recommended!!!! So juicy and DELICIOUS!! And of course their margaritas are so good.

We were going over our receipt after visiting this restaurant last night. It was our second time and the food was good the first time so we came back. The waiter/waitress didn’t really come around to our table. My wife had ordered a Michelob draft, they didn’t bring her a beer until about 10-15 minutes after sitting down and even then it was a bottle. She didn’t say anything so we just continued on. I ordered a strawberry margarita after my initial drink and they forgot about that until another 10-15 minutes. When our food was brought over he accidentally brought a dish with shrimp we didn’t order. Apparently we were charged (Monica’s special) 19.95 for that when it wasn’t even ours to begin with and he had taken it back once he realized his mistake. My son liked the play area but safe to say we won’t ever come back here again. Out 20 bucks and left feeling like the other tables were being more attended to.

We have eaten at more than one Las Fuentes, and always enjoyed it. Today at this location in Brenham, the service and speed of receiving our food left a bit to be desired, but the food itself was good. The salsa had a bit of a burn which I like. The charro beans were a little salty but still good, the pico de gallop had a great line twang to it, and the guacamole was not too chunky. My entree, I think it’s called Melissa’s Plate, was chicken and shrimp in a creamy sauce with mushrooms and poblano pepper on a bed of rice. My husband had shrimp tacos. We were both happy with them.

Food was good, drinks were good, but we didn’t get what we ordered for drinks. I don’t think the waiter knew much English or just didn’t understand our English… So I give the service 3.5 stars.

First time being there on the way back from the lake, heard great things about the kids area. Could be cleaner to say the most. 50/50 on what we ordered for what was good and was no Bueno! 3 waiters later and ordering twice over we did get our food though. See pic for “Mexican flag enchiladas”. Did not meet expectations.

You get what you pay for —the lunch specials were cheap. Guess we should’ve ordered something else. The ground beef in taco and enchilada was completely inedible. Everything else we ate as we were starving.
