I fly into Detroit quite a bit. I usually pick up food and bring it back to Atlanta because, like myself, my children are native Detroiters, so they love Coney Island food. I bought a club and because my flight got in late I wasn’t able to look at it until the next morning. On my sandwich was a hair. I called and asked for a manager (who never came to the phone), and he told the waitress he wouldn’t give me a replacement when I returned to Detroit. I don’t think African American business is a priority for this establishment. Penny rich pound foolish.

I’m sorry, but that was the worst club sandwich I ever ate in my life. Zero love. The cook must have not cared that day. Ordered fries well done, they were cold, soggy, pre-made fries that sat under a heat lamp for 15 minutes and ended up on my plate with that sad excuse for a sandwich. Two thin, not ripe tomato slices? That’s it? Ordered a side of Coney sauce for my fries and even that was weak.

This Coney Island isn’t a bad one, but it depends on your server (waiter/waitress) The servers who are the best get a four star rating, the worse get two stars. I don’t like my drinks to remain empty, and I don’t like it when a friend or family member has to flag down our server, it’s unacceptable. The food is really good, but my suggestion is for them to get some better servers, ones with pleasant attitudes and ones who check on how the customers are doing in a timely fashion and ask if there’s anything else that you need.

Yet another Coney review, lol. I love ’em. This one was pretty busy (lunchtime) but we were seated right away. I ordered a Swiss mushroom burger, the hubby ordered a chicken dish. Both were delish! The waitress was a sweetheart and lots of fun. We aren’t always in that area but when we get out there, we will be back!

This place has friendly service and good food too. Today I had ordered a corned beef sandwich on Rye bread, a medium greek salad with grilled chicken, a bowl of chicken lemon rice soup and a side of fries. My friend also got a small chicken garden salad and everything was so good, thank you so much, dinner was awesome! Highly recommended!

Bean soup was almost $4 a cup. Half filled and very bland. Lasagna had the most disgusting mystery meat I’ve ever seen . I used to really like their food. Shame on you for subpar food

Christina H. was the server for my coworker and I. It was really busy today during lunch but she remained friendly, funny, and personable. Kept checking in on us and her tables and stayed in the zone. The food was great, the 3 meat and cheese skillet was great and the cinnamon swirl French toast good too.
