We are in town visiting and decided to give Main Street Cafe a chance. Me and my wife are soooo glade we did. We started with the mozzarella sticks which were awesome. I ordered the chicken sandwich (blackened) with a side of onion rings and my wife went with the grilled cheese on white bread with fries. Both our meals were delicious, and could not have asked for better food. The wait staff was great and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. The cost of our meals was very reasonable. If this place isn’t a local favorite I’d be surprised. We will be back before we leave for sure.

Loved it! The burgers look and taste as a burger should. I got the double Cheese burger and that thing bordered on a food challenge due to its size. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and a flavor that can not be beat. Had a side of Onion rings and they reminded me of what Frischs used to serve decade’s ago. Everyone in at my table loved what they ordered, from a Club with fries, grilled cheese to a bowl of chili (don’t forget the cheese and sour cream). It’s a smaller place with a full bar inside, still was comfortable though. Swing by and at least try a burger here, though I am sure whatever you order will be delicious.

Listen, I hate to do this to a local spot but we have tried this place twice and both times have had a horrible experience. The waitresses are going to run this place to the ground. So incredibly rude and talking about customers to one another. We waited a good 45 mins to an hour before receiving our food and we werent the only ones. We will never be back.

Stopped in to grab a bite while I was in the area. Quaint lil pub-style diner. I went for the special which was grilled chicken melt on artisan bread with sweet potato fries and their holiday punch. The server was sweet and didn’t take long to get my food. Perfect location RIGHT on the corner so you can’t miss it.

Party of three – waiter was nice and attentive aside from delivering our table’s appetizer to another table. They were taken off our bill (we never did get to try them nor was offered an apology). Order 1: the patty melt was dripping with grease and the burger only covered 1/2 of the rye bread and had very few onions – would not recommend. Order 2: breaded chicken sandwich which was like chewing on a rubber band … consumed only the half that resembled edible chicken – would definitely NOT recommend. Order 3: double burger was literally leaking grease and disintegrated after each bite … took only 3 bites – would absolutely NOT recommend. Each order was accompanied by an order of fries (over $4 per order – $12 for 3 sides of fries with a sandwich order … really?) which were okay, but completely overpriced based on the quantity and quality. I was hoping for so much more for a local cafe, but was completely disappointed and will NOT return provided much better options in the immediate area. Grease, ever lasting gobstopper chicken, missed orders, and heavily inflated cost of sides does NOT equal a good meal nor returning patrons.
