Had dinner here tonight with the family. We haven’t been here since there remodel. WOW! What a difference. Much more open and roomy. There is an outside seating area too. We were told that they are working on getting their ABC License, so beer and maybe wine will soon be available. The food was great, as was the service. This will be a regular place for us now I believe.

The Eagles Nest is a really great place to eat. They have their basic menu that you can order from any day of the week but they also have daily specials and it changes on a fairly regular basis. You may find anything from Jambalaya to Glazed Pork Chops to Shrimp and Grits to Chicken Fried Steak and it’s ALL GOOD. The prices are great and you get a plate full.

Was traveling thru on business and stopped in town at a local shops. It was close to closing and I asked where in town to eat. The shop keepers suggested this place for a sit down meal with more options than just burgers.

Have eaten here several times. Food has all ways Ben decent. Friendly and in most cases lovely young ladies server staff. Desert selection is top notch. On occasion if they are really packed then food was a bit slow in arriving. But over all for a place that is open 24/7 in an area that you wouldn’t think being off the normal grid could sustain a resterant I find it to be a worth while stop.

The owner was rude to my wife. We ordered chicken breast and got a thigh with no apology. When they finally cooked another breast we reminded them that we wanted it. It was raw inside. Inedible. The owner said we should be thankful for any food. Will not spend my money there.

Excellent staff. I’m glad they are 24 hours. I no longer have to drive to locust or albemarle if it’s late. The pancakes are huge and my steak was good. They have room for improvement but since they just opened I’m sure it’s only going to get better.

This places is a must!!! It offers a delicious daily special and I can’t begin to pick a favorite. My husband has ordered fish as well and said it was good. Their signature eagle fries are yum! They also have fantastic soups! There is a salad bar and they offer pizza as well. Best of all is their desserts. We always get a slice of cake to share… they are HUGE!!! They have many to choose from!
