I ordered online and my order was pretty much ready besides the drink, and two of the sides they had to put in my bad. My guess is so it’s fresh. I got the Out of Site Special (chopped beef sandwich with two sides of Texas corn and ranch beans), a turkey kids meal with fried okra and a drink, banana pudding, and small side of Mac n cheese. The turkey and beef were flavorful and juicy, the fried okra was top tier, and corn was good as well. The ranch beans and Mac n cheese was lacking in flavor a bit but cooked well. Definitely will be back if I’m over on that side of town:l.

Their sign advertises “ not stingy on meat”, well that’s a lie! Look at my photo- 2 “meat” plate is about as much meat put together as the size of the soggy Texas toast. Brisket was tender but had absolutely no flavor and server had to cut fat off before serving. That should have been done prior to smoking. Pulled pork was just ok. Sausage had a good flavor but we couldn’t chew through the casing. Creamed corn was out of a can with a hot spice added. The free ice-cream was the best part. Overall we were not impressed! We won’t be back..

OMG!!! It was the 1st time eating here and we loved it. The gentleman greeted us as soon as we walked in. The food was amazing. There sweet tea mmmm couldn’t get enough, then you get free ice cream. They have a little bar with sides for your BBQ. WE went into a food coma. We will definitely be going here more often.

The food is always excellent. Dining room is always clean and employees are very friendly. I only wish Soulmans would add a tip option at the point of sale. Those folks work hard preparing food, keeping the restaurant clean, I would love to see you add this option at the register. Salute.

Decided to try this place for the first time and was highly disappointed. I ordered the family size meal which was a 1lb of meat and two sides and Texas toast that said could feed 2-3 people. If those 2-3 people are small children who don’t want seconds then yes. If you are ordering for more then two adults save your money. The sides alone were only enough for two people to get a very small portion if that. I like crunchy okra but this place takes crunchy okra to a different level of nothing but crunch and nothing on the inside. The brisket sadly had no flavor. Overall it was not worth the money spent. If I could give zero stars I would.

This is some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I got the 2 meat plate, brisket and chicken. Both were very moist and full of flavor! The spicy potatoes and the coleslaw were better than my grandma’s! I’m speechless!
