Place look’s clean, The food is fresh and tasty. There was a thing about the place, I was asking for a rest room more to wash my hand and there was a sigh with “toilet closed to the public” and the owner/GM was at another table doing paper work. But they let me use the back restroom eventually. all the small restaurants have a small restroom that allows you at least to wash.

A small hidden gem in Milwaukee acevin Glenview. Blink and you miss it. Only 4 tables inside, so mostly carryout. Wish they had outside dining, perfect for summer. The food was fantastic, everything was great. Yes, it’s spicy, but the rice pudding cools everything afterwards. Everything was great

Pasta was not cooked at all! Covered in oil. Greasy food and was lukewarm when we got our food. The whole energy of the restaurant was weird you can’t see the chef or anything on the back. The thought of not knowing who and what my food is being cooked In, I didn’t like. Definitely won’t be eating here again. WAY OVER PRICED

Not sure if the guy that was in when we were there was the owner, but he got the food out to us really quick. The gyro burger that I got was really greasy, but hey, it was really good! If you order cheese fries, just know that you will get one of those large boats.

My family and I went for dinner. It’s a small place, more suited for takeout, but we still ate inside. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was really good. I had the spicy gangster burger which was much spicier than I expected, which is a good thing. We also tried the gyro, the tacos al pastor, and the chicken quesadilla. Everything was delicious and the portions are generous. We also split the gangster fries which are very rich but also delicious. We will definitely go back.

Got the gangster burger and siracha fries. Yea to drink. Delicious. Just what I was looking for. Well conceived and executed. The burger was really balanced and well flavored. The jalapeño and pickle did a great job together. The siracha fries were generous and delicious. The green onion on top was a nice touch. I’ll have to try other food another day.

Mainly a take out place. Not much to look at inside. Food is very good although the menu is slightly small but every dish is worth trying. Wonderful addition to the Glenview area.

This place started as a food truck business that was impacted by covid. Now it’s a food truck business inside a bldg. Meaning they didn’t make the transition to an inside restaurant atmosphere. Here’s your food and a can of Coke. Don’t ask for service because there ain’t none… they have 4-5 tables. We were the only ones there. The lady behind the counter never checked on us. More drinks… water… napkins, nothing. The food was good. Prob should be carry out only. Get rid of the tables and chairs if you’re really not going to be a dine in place.

Just tried the new location in Glenview. Fantastic food!! I’ve had food from the owner Ricky through his other concepts (Culinary Gangster: Food Truck, Eden’s Garden & Valor) and all are amazing! The new location lives up to my previous experiences. Ingredients are fresh, the food is tasty and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this location! Pictures are of the fries (the ranch is SOO good), gyros and popcorn cauliflower.

Culinary Gangster
Looking for something new to try I stumbled upon the Culinary Gangster’s website. I was intrigued by the menu but very much undecided as to what I should order since there’s so many great options to choose from. The menu is friendly, simple to understand and with a variety of items that guarantees you’ll find something to like. I decided to go with the Gyro Burger and upgraded my fries to the gangster fries. The burger came on a crisp brioche bun with tzatzki sauce, diced tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. The patty was juicy and gratifying just as much as the gyros, perfectly cooked. This has been one of, if not the best burger I’ve ever had! At first, the gangster fries seemed a bit overwhelming, but they did an amazing job at balancing all the flavors and the components compliment one another wonderfully! All in all, it was a great experience! I’m eager to keep exploring their menu. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself! You won’t be disappointed.
