So I have gone to Kobe’s for years in the mall I literally go to the mall just to get their food sometimes and my girlfriend and I had gone there today cause it’s been a long time since we have. I ordered the sesame chicken like I always have and when I got my plate I could already see it looked different the sauce and rice both looked different but I took a bite dispute my hesitation of it’s looks and it was disgusting the rice the chicken the sauce all was absolutely horrible. I had spent $25 on the meal and I felt it would be ok to trade it in for a different order and the cashier wanted me to repay for the new meal and argued with me but the cook had made it anyway and replace it and I was grateful and thanked him but just as I walk away he gets screamed at In Japanese. The food is terrible the customer service even worse so not go here. I am so disappointed in how this restaurant has become and I had to share this

Best place to eat at the mall. I don’t understand why they have a menu. They should just ask how many orders Teriyaki Chicken you want. All kidding aside, their Teriyaki Chicken is great. My wife and I probably go to the mall more often for this than the mall itself. It can be a little crowded because its so popular but they are usually moving at a pretty fast pace.

I’m here right now and I ordered two dinners. As I go on to eat my meal I come across a small rock in my food and on top of that the chicken was past due. The cashier didn’t want to return my money. I get it with this job you put food on the table. I’m a single mother and I too work in customer service that includes food, but just because I ask for my money back doesn’t mean you should call me a liar I’m a single mother and expecting a baby and I don’t want to risk baby by eating food that is not properly prepared. Just remember we all struggle economically but also at least have good customer service so one can come back and applaud your food thank you.

Their teriyaki sauce has changed or something. I used to like the teriyaki chicken. But now it’s very salty with no hint of sweetness or ginger at all. It’s like it’s all soy sauce and nothing else. It’s been like this for the last few visits. Too bad I really liked this dish!!

I always eat here when I’m at the mall. Their food was always great up to my most recent visit on 2/29/2020. I ordered the teriyacki chicken with rice, one egg role, and a soda. After I received my food, I walked across the food court, sat down with my family, and began to eat.

I have been going there for years but will no longer. I noticed today that there were two new employees I had never seen working there. I put in my order of chicken and shrimp with rice and vegetables. When the order was complete, they gave me chicken and shrimp with rice and noodles. I told them this is not what I ordered and one of the new cooks proceeded to argue with me saying he was right and I was wrong. After several attempts, they would not correct the order and I was forced to take an order home I didn’t want. They have always been an awesome place to go but if this is the type of attitude towards customers, I will no longer go to any of their locations.
