Went here for an anniversary weekend. We both started with the Shellfish Bisque. Wife had the Beef Bourguignon and the fruit tart for dessert. I had the Duck Confit and the apple pastry. The food was excellent! Well seasoned, properly prepared. Just a joy you experience. Our server was engaging, attentive, & funny. Overall it was a really nice vibe with the music in th e background, a few people at the bar, and convenient since we were staying at The George. Oh, before I forget, I had the absolute best Mexcal White Negroni there that I would go back for alone. Everything was on point, even though nothing was planned. We truly enjoyed our experience at Bistro Bis.

Very nice hotel. Didnt eat at the bistro but You will get what you pay for at the hotel and its a pretty penny. Only stayed for a night because we were there for an event that lasted one day but I loved the experience. Only thing is parking will be an issue. You gotta pay to park unless its after 630pm on the weekend. You can park across the street.

The food here is absolutely delectable. I highly suggest the steak. There are few steaks I would give a one hundred percent rating to, and this is one of them. It rivaled the ones I had in Florence, Italy. The service was immaculate, and the waitstaff top notch.

@bistrobisdc KILLED IT and you absolutely have to visit them. Not only do they have a great food portions and quality is phenomenal, but drinks were really good here too, reccomend the French martini. For $40/person you can enjoy a app, entrée & dessert during restaurant week!

Spacious and quiet place that’s very nice for business meetings. I really enjoyed their steak tartare, one of the best I’ve had. The service was attentive and polite and food was served pretty fast.

Came here during winter restaurant week. Friendly staff and nice ambience. The food was hit or miss. The entrees were great, but appetizers really varied in size and taste and not all were good. The beet salad was very small and simple.

We went there during restaurant week for brunch. Everything was good, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great. Our server was friendly and on time. I love it there and would go back for sure. The only reason I gave it 4 was because our server told us the champaign is $40 and he would give us some orange juice so we can make mimosa for ourself, however when the bill came, he charged us $56! When we asked why $56, he said $40 was the bottle the rest was the service for the Champagne and glasses and orange juice! I didn’t argue just because he was nice and the food was good otherwise I would have asked for manager.

Appetizers are the best! We ordered beef tartare and escargot, which are good looking and tasteful. The entree is too much for me.. I can only eat one third of it.. Such an american style!

We came here for restaurant week expecting a really impressive eating experience, and while the food was fine, it wasn’t something out of the ordinary. The French onion soup was bomb. But the French toast and bis bistro biscuit were mediocre. Likewise the sorbet and creme brûlée were both very tasty, but not enough to come back and pay full price for.
