This is a super popular spot for breakfast and a few brunch/lunch items. Limited hours. Dod Friendly. Heated outdoor patio and indoor seating. We have been waiting to try it since we moved to Carlsbad. We went on a Thursday around 11 am. We were seated outside immediately (with my two dogs in a stroller). The menu is large, but since they are known for their German pancakes, we got one to share and decided we also needed bacon and coffee. We got the Pecan German Pancake. It was large enough for 2-3, or perhaps 4 people. It was very good, although it appeared to be a bit overdone (burnt). It also has a ton of cinnamon- so if that’s not your vibe, choose differently. The bacon was thick and soft (not crispy). We like it like that, so again, if you want it crispy, you might have to specify. The coffee was 10/10.

Every experience at Richard Walkers has been fantastic. The food and service are both top notch. And their coffee is just next level awesome. I usually have 3-cups, and get a to-go cup as well. And our daughter has an entire pitcher of iced tea, and feels bad if she doesn’t happen to finish it because it is so so good.

Our first time here, we came about an hour and a half before closing time and we didn’t have to wait. The food came out fast and it was delicious. The service was great! You have to try their signature coffee ☕️. If you love it, they do have bags for sale.

The food was VERY DELICIOUS My partner and I really enjoyed our food. He got a burrito which came with beans and salsa and I got their sausage breakfast option (I forgot what the plate was called). We really enjoyed everything!

This is our second Richard Walker’s Pancake House we’ve been to and it is just as amazing as the downtown San Diego location. The coffee is so good we bought a half pound of beans to make at home. Also, our coffee cups never had a chance to be empty… anytime someone walked by with a pot, they stopped and topped us off. Our server was fantastic and the food was superb. We are already planning our next visit. We wish there was one in Orange County!

Delicious spot for breakfast! Offering dine in (we sat outside), waitress was very attentive and friendly. Large selection of breakfast items on the menu, some very unique! I had the Spinach Crepes and they were incredible! Large portions- I could only finish 1 crepe, but I took the 2nd to go! The coffee was good. Prices are a little higher than other places, but I think the quality, quantity and taste of the food was worth the little more you are going to pay. Every bite was worth it! Will be back! Definitely recommend giving them a try!

We visited this place on a Saturday morning. We were already very hungry and we had to wait in a long queue. After 10-15 mins, we got a seat outdoors and luckily they had heaters. Inside the restaurant, space is less and it was pretty crowded.

Today was my first time at this restaurant, I received a coupon in the mail so I decided to try it. First of all I’ve never seen a glass of OJ for $6.50, I buy a 1/2 gallon in the stores for less than $3.50! The prices are insane! They wanted $7.95 for 3 slices of bacon, really!
