This review is for the Baltic Spice House that just opened up about 2 or 3 weeks ago. The food was delicious and you get the bang for your buck! The customer service was warm and friendly! We also enjoyed watching and listening to the Bollywood music and music videos that were playing. My roommates and I went to check it out one night from our apartment and had a good time; we all agreed we would be back! I recommend the Naan, especially goat cheese stuffed one and I also recommend what I ordered which is the Coconut Fish Curry.

We ordered the paneer tikka masala and it came back an unnatural bright red almost hot pink color. There was also no taste at all, it was watery and the paneer cubes were crumbly. We went back to show them and they gave us another order that came back the regular orange tikka masala but was still watery. I don’t think the chefs are Indian. So if you’re looking for traditional Indian food this is not the place. The only thing that made up for it is they added little frozen mango lassi cups because we had to wait so long for our order or maybe because they knew the food wasn’t up to par.

Tiki masala had 4 tiny pieces of chicken in it. Had to supplement with extra chicken and veggies from my own kitchen to go with all the leftover sauce. That being said the sauce was very good. Fish coconut curry was a weird chunky brown dish that didn’t really taste like coconut or tomato, not sure why it had that texture.

I happened upon Baltic Spice House when looking for a restaurant that previously existed here. Glad I did – it’s so good. Probably the best Chicken Korma dish I’ve had in the bay. Great service – will be back often.

Food was tasty and the service was attentive. There is a piano next to the bar and a patron was playing lovely music as we dined, an unexpected bonus for the evening. We will visit again.

Absolutely phenomenal 5 out of 5 stars. This place has me sold. True authentic flavors that make you want more. And upon leaving I found out that this place has an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet during the week. Score

Excellent food and a great bartender too! The back patio is a great spot and big. Lovely atmosphere in an old, histories building. We had a blast!

We were very impressed though our experience was completely auspicious. In a Friday night we happened to be in Pt. Richmond about 10pm and needed a light dinner before going home so we happened on this place out of which exuded loud blues which gave us pause. But as we entered the atmosphere and the music enveloped and embraced us; the Love Light Blues Band was excellent and although they only served bar food at that time, we just loved being there. We have no idea what it will be like when we try it again with the whole menu but we were inspired by the choices and the vibe overall.

Stopped here by chance and had a beer. The ambience is warm and welcoming and the history amazing. We will try the food on another trip. Can’t wait to come back!

The food is delicious, a wonderful patio seating area. Affordable, great for a date or lunch with the girls. The service was quite good, it’s not an Applebee’s they don’t have twenty servers ready to take your order but the server was nice and the food was well worth the wait. I’d recommend the potato pancakes, they are fried and served with homemade apple sauce and the bratwurst platter, the sauerkraut was to die for. A real gem.
