First time in this place & it was fantastic! We’re originally from the south & the pulled pork/brisket were melt in your mouth good, with the crispy edges. Just how we like them! Portions were generous, & prices were fair. I got the pulled pork sandwich with fried okra. Hubs got the brisket meat platter. Our kids got the kids’ corn dogs with fries (they were out of the smoked Mac & cheese- want to try it next time). All was tasty & cooked to perfection. The gal who took our order was very nice. Plus 5b’s gets bonus points with me for having that chewable ballpark ice. Great find! Would recommend 10/10

Loved my trip this afternoon to 5 Bs BBQ! I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was juicy and delicious, and my side of fries were crunchy and soft at the same time, also delicious. The staff were all amazing and all together made me want to come back next time I’m in town.

BEST BBQ I have ever eaten. I was stuck in Gunnison getting some repairs done. I walked over to 5 B’s. What a wonderful surprise and silver lining to a difficult day. Their prices are very reasonable. The restaurant has a huge menu with lots of different choices with each entree. I had the beef meat platter, cheese biscuit, baked beans, and fried okra. I wanted to get the cheesecake for dessert but I am so full with the generous portion they served. I highly recommend this stop if you are in Gunnison or nearby.

Good BBQ. The meat was cooked very well and I don’t feel it was over priced. I liked all of the sides I tried as well. (Mac, fries, and cheddar biscuit) Other than the disappointment of a bbq sauce that is sitting on the tables this places checked all the boxes for me. I’d go back!

Finally, BBQ which is something lacking in Colorado! I found this on my way up to crested butte and had to stop. I paid $13 for a decent brisket meal! My only disappointment was the biscuit was dense but still tasty. Nice treat on a snow night.

Decent BBQ joint. The brisket was a little bit too steamed in texture (starting to trend towards pot roast texture) but the flavor was good, as was the pulled pork. The hot link was really good, and had an Italian Sausage quality to the taste, I’d definitely recommend it. The biscuit was tasty, the Mac and cheese was average, and the baked beans were slightly above average.

We used to take guests here as it was some of the best brisket/food in Colorado. Got one pound of brisket today, cowboy beans, fried okra. Brisket was tough, worse than mediocre. Beans were tough, not soaked/cooked enough. Okra was passable. A real tragedy, we used to love this place.

The nachos were a let down. The meat was not even warm, neither was the cheese not sure what happened there. The fried pickles were amazing, very tasty. Almond tea was fun to try, something different.

The service makes this a 0 star place.. We got in at 9, stood around like idiots until they asked us what we needed and we asked if we could order? They said the kitchen was closed. We asked if we could get a beer. The bartender was already drunk? High? Not sober.. The guys in line behind us talked a better game with the cook I guess because they DID get to place a food order. (1 other couple was turned away for food because it was 9:15). Idk they tried to close early the entire time too. Weird vibes. Doesn’t compare to the old 5B’s. Doesn’t qualify for “good service” in any regard. Kids running the place doesn’t work…
