What a great view! It was so hot out but we still had to sit outside to see the beautiful ocean. Our food was amazing. We had the pork dumplings as an appetizer. Served with a sweet and spicy sauce. Mom had the chicken Alfredo on penne pasta with Gorgonzola cheese. I had the grilled ribeye cooked to perfection served with mashed potatoes and veggies consisting of zucchini, squash, carrots, cauliflower and onions. Yummy! Mom also loved the Raspberry Long Island Tea.

This restaurant is situated in the Topaz Hotel but I’m told it is a completely separate business. It is somewhat quirky as some of the rooms feel as though you are in a museum, but that just adds to the charm. The food was just great, there were 4 of us and we all had something different, but all 4 of us said it was one of the best meals we had enjoyed in quite some time. The server was attentive, prompt and polite. It was raining when we got there and we were greeted by a man who did not look like a typical host, he was a little off and seemed to complicate things somewhat. There were plenty of tables but he wasn’t sure he could seat us? When I asked a very polite question how long the wait time was, as I would say it was an 80% empty room he looked at me and walked away. So I asked if we could wait at the bar when he came back he said it was full. But it wasn’t! This was the only downside, when he did come back the second he lead us to a table rather abruptly to what was the main room with maybe only 3 other occupied tables. Very strange. We didn’t see him again so it did not spoil our enjoyment. But first impressions count, not sure he should be the one greeting people.

Sat outside with a group of 6. Initially the hostess didn’t want to accommodate us for outside seating, but we worked it out. Would definitely recommend! Every dish was amazing. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and special offerings.

Outstanding service and the food was fantastic. Had the short ribs and Gorgonzola chicken pasta. Both were memorable meals. All fresh and made from scratch. The short ribs were the best I’ve had. They have half and full choices for a few entrees. The half was plenty with an appetizer or starter.

Great place to take your friends or family to eat. Staff are always the same great people and they all have been working there for years. The food is cooked up special,every meal and they have some great drinks. The outside view is great , your on the ocean and the inside is just as nice. I have a favorite table, corner booth by the kitchen. That’s how I know everyone there

Quaint quiet local fare where my wife and I had a meal that was simply delicious. It seemed more like a home cooked meal. We both ordered their halibut special, mine was blackened my wife’s grilled. Served with a flavorful basmati rice and a sautéed vegetable medley.

A little hidden gem on Flagler Beach please do not miss the Island Grill when you are dining at Flagler Beach. I had the mahi special with a wasabi aioli sauce and the shrimp and scallops with rice and vegetables. The bartender is also amazing. The old fashioned was fantastic perfect for taking the edge off a long work week.
