This place is absolutely wonderful!! We are always looking for decent calamari, and this was literally some of the best we’ve ever had- very tender (not rubbery.) The octopus was EXCELLENT and every other dish was as well. Staff were very friendly and atmosphere was nice. Always looking for a new place to eat and we absolutely will return. Love new places in Ankeny, hope Giorgio’s will stick around. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere.

This place is special! The atmosphere is really cute, but the food is spectacular. This family-owned restaurant had super authentic food. We had the flaming cheese, gyro, and pastichio, which were authentically cooked and flavorsome! The staff were very friendly and attentive. 10/10 would recommend. The prices look a little high, until you see the serving size.

Wonderful staff, very friendly and attentive. Portion sizes were generous. We got the gyro plate and the gyro hot app. Both delicious, the chicken and rice soup was pretty good too. Food came out fast. Can’t wait to go back and discover more Greek cuisine!
