Casual vibe, good menu. I had a chicken burrito which was grilled to perfection, excellent flavor, texture, balance of ingredients. Mild & meaty with nicely spicy sauces on the side. (Not too salty) Top notch! We’ll definitely be back for lamb stew on the weekend, yum. Sweet mermaid mural & varied selection of beverages – cold beer, horchata, aloe juice, all my favorites. Grab dinner while doing your laundry next door, pick up some groceries, very efficient & chill.

Very disappointed in what I thought should have been a hidden gem. Turned into rubble. The food served had no spark; lifeless, colorless, made without love. One high point found were the bag of dotitos purchased with a secret flavor added making them more than just store bought chips.

Although the wait here can get long around the lunch hour (I sat for 40 minutes before getting six tacos), the quality of the food is incredible. Each taco packs a punch of flavor, whether it was steak, chicken, or pork. They certainly don’t skimp on filling up your tortilla either – at $3/taco, you get a mountain of food.

I had heard good things about this place. I Navigated my way to the back of the store to reach the restaurant. The music was blasting and the hostess had an earbud in her ear, so ordering was more difficult than it should’ve been.

I’ve been coming here since shortly after they first opened, so now that I’ve had a bunch of experiences, I thought I’d finally leave this review. If you are someone who loves classic corn tortilla, meat, onion, cilantro tacos, then this is a top 5 taco place in Madison. I often find myself getting the al pastor and chorizo tacos specifically. They are flavorful, filling, and I also love the orange hot sauce they give you. Service is friendly and typically quick. I will say for one particular lunch I did have to wait a bit, but it wasn’t terrible and never had that issue again. Definitely recommend this little gem.

Wow. Carne Asada taco haven/heaven? Bree and I just had three of them, and squeezed lime juice over these delightful tasties. Orange sauce, guessing habanero in a ketchup bottle, and green sauce in a mustard bottle. Slathered one on one taco, the other on another, and left the other one sauce less. They were all culinary delights. Dreamy. We will be back. For now, we’re off to see our first movie in a cinema in more than a year. But go here. This restaurant is a new personal fave.
