Really love the portion size and the flavor here! Have picky eaters in the family but everyone loved the food.

The chili momos (with chicken) were excellent, as were the beef johl momos (so flavorful). We also got the chip chili, which is crinkle cut fries in a spicy sauce. It was just ok – should’ve gone with the chicken or paneer.

It was our last day in Boston and I am a huge momo (dumpling) fan and it made absolute sense to stop by this place! This is a small traditional nepalese family run momo restaurant. There is reasonable seating inside. We placed an order to go since we were getting late for our flight back to Seattle.

Tasty Momo offers so delicious made-to-order items.

Loved the veggie chilly momos. Veggie Chowmein was also super tasty.. Momo filling was flavourful with paneer/tofu I guess. Usually veggie Momos are stuffed with just grated cabbage but these ones were great.

I am eating my leftover momo and samosa and even on day 2 felt compelled to write a 5 star review for one of my absolute favorite / go-to takeout places. I’m lucky enough to live close enough to walk here on a whim and I’m so happy every time I do. Their momo is truly tasty – delicious in fact. I’ve been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. The only time I almost was, was when I dropped by and saw their storefront had closed. Luckily they had only moved across the street because their business is doing so well. Love this place – definitely get your momo here when visiting town.

It was a very disappointing experience for us. The food wasn’t seasoned at all. There was another couple who also asked for seasoning. We ordered chowmein which was quite bland and we found hair in it. The momo soup didn’t have any seasoning. The service was uncourteous.

Comparing to ALL the others nepalese restaurants out there, I had the worst experience visiting this nepali restaurant in Somerville. The young girl who is a receptionist/cashier is extremely rude and loves to talk behind customers back. She didn’t like it when I told her how the liquid sauce for the pani puri was missing as you need the liquid sauce to enjoy the meal and without the liquid sauce the meal is incomplete and you just simply cannot enjoy the meal that was ordered. The girl who is a cashier there did not like me mentioning that and immediately thought I was being “cool” and that I’m someone who thinks they’re “cool” when all I was trying to do was let them know how they had missed the major part of my meal that’s all, in a kind and positive way. There’s no need to be rude and talk behind a customers back saying how I was being “cool” when all I was doing was just giving positive feedback about what had happened to my meal so that they were aware of it. The cashier girl working there has a huge attitude problem, is very rude and loves to judge customers that walks in. She’s a perfect example of a rude employee who doesn’t know anything about basic business customer service protocol. Strongly advise to go to other nepalese restaurants out there in Boston if you don’t want to get judged when you walk in and overall for better quality nepalese food that’s far more tasty to fulfill your complete nepalese dining in/takeout experience.

I’m editing my old review to provide a better review after eating vegetable momo and chowmein in other states.

Good flavors and quaint neighborhood Nepalese joint. Personally I enjoyed the thali more than the momos. The spicy momos were a tad too saucy for me and most of my order had ‘leaked’. Goat thali was delicious, the veggies and cauliflower was a good compliment but the dal too salty. The pickles and chili sauce were my fav. Samosas were huge, tasty and I enjoyed the mango lassi. They are quite busy with takeout orders so about a 20min wait for food on weekends.
