This place is worth it! I was pleased with the atmosphere when I walked in. I was greeted in a welcoming manner and my order was taken and served exceptionally quick. This place is contending for the best place to get a salad in West Ashley/Charleston. I enjoyed the Kale, Arugula, Falafel, and chipotle vinaigrette the most. Lastly my experience wouldn’t have been so great without Shelby and Marcus.

Not sure why all of the negative reviews, this is my Sweetgreen dupe!! This place has the freshest ingredients & the pickled onions are to DIE for. I’ve gotten the Mesa Verde salad at least 15 times and it’s AMAZING every single time. There’s a reason I’ve gotten it 15 times. I moved here from Southern California hoping to find the fresh & healthy foods I had there, and this is totally it. Give this place a try during your break at work, I truly don’t think you’ll regret it. The owner is also awesome & I can tell they care about the food quality ☺️☺️

UPDATE: I added a star back because the owner was quick to reply and work to make things right! Overall, I do highly recommend Verde. It’s a healthy option that is still fast and I enjoy a good number of the specialty salads there.

My husband and I hadn’t been here for quite a while until yesterday evening and oh man service has slipped. The salad greens were sort of limp and I got a salad that’s supposed to be vegan but I have been out with bad vertigo last night and today like I usually am if I accidentally consume decent amounts of dairy. (The Godess dressing was white for some reason and they insisted it was still vegan). In addition to this, I watched the girl training the new guy touch her nose at the register and then go put on gloves without washing her hands first to serve the lady that just came in. I hope this location can one day get back to their used to be because that was not a great experience in the least bit

I made an order online. I waited 30 minutes. Time is up. He entered the room. I waited another 20 minutes. I’m patient. But when I asked where my order was, it turned out that they hadn’t even started making it. They started making my order only after 1 hour. This is crazy. Just to come in to eat, do I have to spend 1.5 hours of my time?

Just recently started ordering from here and the first few orders were great but lately the orders have been sub par. I pay for extras that I don’t receive and then today I order a kale Caesar and there is no meat smh. $15 is a lot for salad to not have everything that you paid for.
