I’ve ordered here only take-out! I definitely will try it out when I’m in New Haven. Even tho it’s take out..and I live a bit away in Ansonia…it’s still so good! Yes it’s a little soggy but I know it’s only because it traveled haha I take that into consideration. I know when I go there it will be bomb! I’ve lived in Philly so I know a great cheese steak! The flavors here are unexplainable! It’s just so tasty! We ordered the normal cheesesteak and this time we got the Doctor and I loved that it actually had some heat! I love this place! Definitely must!

WOW. This was better than the Philly cheesesteak I had when I was in Philadelphia. Amazing food, prepared fresh to order, and great service – the staff was super friendly and helpful. Great options for different dietary needs too. I thought I had ordered too much food but I ate every last bite. I’ll definitely be back!!

All around delicious. Don’t worry, you can substitute the cheez whiz for whatever you prefer. The bread is always soft and fresh and they are never stingy with the amount of steak they put your sandwiches. The hot wings are also a hit.

Today, I tried Phillys A Taste of Philadelphia. I had the Doc and BBQ Chicken over Fries. Upon arriving, I notice Daym Drops filming inside of Phillys A Taste of Philadelphia. It was quiet busy. The young lady at the register was very helpful. The food came out fast and hot. The food was good and flavorful. There were no Togo menus available to take with you and you could not order in advance….the website used snack something was not working when I ordered.

Great, fresh shaved steak sub. We had the Broad Street Bully for our sandwich…a perfect balance of hot, sweet, pickles and cheese. We ate it too quick to get a picture. The buffalo chicken fries fantastic and the fried dough a revelation. I definitely recommend this place!

Amazing place – Delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. We each had the Broad Street Bully and split an order of plain fries. My wife and I were born and raised in Philadelphia, a.k.a. Philly, so we know a lot about steak sandwiches. Philly’s, A Taste Of Philadelphia is truly a Taste of Philly. In fact, they’re much better than most sandwich shops. Don’t go as a substitute for a visit to the great city of Philadelphia – go for their great food! The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were the best we can recall. Our order was piping hot and fresh. Try the Phried Philly bread if you like cinnamon buns.

SO SO GOOD!!! I don’t normally post reviews, but Philly’s was so delicious that I had to share. I had the classic Philly, fries, wings, and the Philly bread dessert – I will be dreaming about everything until I come back again. The staff was wonderful – so friendly and kind. As close to Philly style as you will get in CT! This place is the real deal. Our family is from outside Philly area and whenever we go to a place in CT that has Philly Cheesesteak on the menu, we cringe because it is never close to what you get in Philadelphia, PA.
