Arrived at 2:15. Asked for an order of shrimp nachos I was told they don’t start those orders until 4pm. I had to completely change my order. Paid and drove to the second window. Waited at the second window for 30 minutes for a hot dog and snow ball. I was told an employee didn’t show up. The snow ball taste off and I received the wrong food item. I was handed an upside down regular chilli hot dog. Not the coastal one I order. Completely wrong order!!!Not to mention the inconveniences of trying to get to the location if you aren’t on the side of ambassador they are located. I don’t plan to return.15 bucks for a half hour Wait on a snowball and “coastal dog”!! I NEVER RECEIVED!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I find something off this season. Last year this was my favorite spot. Great customer service and excellent crawfish and shrimp. Waited in long line numerous times because it was worth it. Went last week and got a different vibe. As I pulled up to the menu, I saw Coastal Combo was $23 on the board. I got to the window and ordered but was charged $10 more. I said the sign says $23, so a guy went out to grab the sign and said no today it went up. Well they should have changed the sign to reflect that new price. They would not honor that price so they lost my business. I went down the road to get my fix. It was just the principle. Great customer service goes a long way.

The ice, snowball and service isn’t as good as it once was. The owners would need to run this place themselves or train the staff effectively. I’m sad to see something good go so wrong. I used to look forward to treat myself here.

I have never eaten crawfish so small. We waited in line for 30 minutes then to get my crawfish as miniature was disappointing. They should have never been served. They were seasoned and cooked well but very small. Will not be coming back.

I absolutely fell in love with the snowballs in 2021 after moving here. The consistency of the ice is like no other snowball stand around. If you ever had a Mom’s snowball from Houma, and knew the flavor was on point every time, that is what Coastal Fire & Ice brings. I have yet to try the blue point crabs, but I am looking for some Prairie Cajun to impress me. This bayou girl will update the review once I try their crabs.

We found this spot about a month or so ago and absolutely love it! Prices are great, crawfish are great and have been huge everytime we’ve picked them up. AND you can grab an amazing snoball to eat on the way home. perfect.
