I love this place! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff are nice. The head chef is originally from Virginia so the dishes are southern inspired but still have the amazing seafood. The head chef also come out to deliver your food sometimes and usually come to your table to make sure everything is good. 🙂 Even though the food is more upscale than what’s around, it doesn’t take away from the feeling of a nice local cozy restaurant that you can go to with family!

Top notch service, great staff with incredibly tasty food. The crispy duck hash was delish as well as everything else we had.

A hidden gem on route one in Searsport Maine . Rio’s is an American infusion restaurant. Elegant clean. Bright atmosphere. Friendly staff. Inside and outside seating. Definitely a must see and taste.

Delicious. I went for brunch with my kids, husband, and parents, and we all left full. I had probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The palomas were amazing. My one complaint was that they were out of the croque madame when I was there, and I had basically planned to go there for that specifically. Apparently, it’s good because they had just run out when I was ready to order. My husband had the spiced duck hash and said it was one of the best duck meals he’d ever had. The staff was amazing, even entertaining my 4 year old son. We’re actually going back on Thursday because it’s burger night!

We were excited to give Rio’s a try. The service and atmosphere are top notch. I wish the food was a match. Nothing terrible but I’d say the theme for our party of four was over sauced and flavored. For instance, I had the burger. Under the gravy and cheese, it was difficult to find the patty (advertised as 1/2 lb). Same held true for the wings – way too much going on between the coating and dipping sauce.

Large portions with flavor that will have your taste buds wanting more! Brunch or dinner are never a let down. Chief Cooper is a taste palette magician. The staff is very pleasant, even when short staffed.

Sunday brunch was delicious at Rio Cafe! I had the French toast that came with plenty of fruit sauce, you don’t even need the extra syrup and my husband had eggs over duck hash, he loved it. Staff was friendly and pleasant, the chef offered me extra quince jam for my French toast, my favorite! We will definitely go back and we can’t wait to try their dinner options.

So we went in as a party of five. Ordered some Prosecco wine. The second bottle of wine we received was not what we ordered. She actually brought us the house bottle of Malbec, which was called Linda and we ordered the Pinot noir, which was much more money than the house. We didn’t really complain because she had already opened it before I got to the table, the steaks were great. All the appetizers were delicious. The sunchokes were a little bit over cooked in the sauce was way too spicy for me personally but everybody else liked it. The cod cakes definitely need some work. Very salty and chewy. Scallops were delicious.

What a wonderful experience! Three of us went for Sunday brunch and we tried so much food, and drink! The mimosas and Bloody Mary were to die for, but the Rios Cappuccino was the best!
