Quite/peaceful atmosphere. Dishes taste excellent and compliment well with the hot macha green tea. Service is friendly and prompt. Not much seating available.

A neighborhood staple. Sushi Keiko has fast service, tasty sushi and relatively large portions. Great for carry out or dine in.

Got the teriyaki salmon meal. It came with miso soup, a generous portion of rice, and tiny sides of sweet potato puree, spinach, and mushrooms (the size of containers used for dressings). It was good quality and quantity for the price (about $20), but if you’re really hungry and don’t like rice so much, you might want sushi or an appetizer, too. Looking forward to trying sushi next time.

Wow. The service here is subpar and the food is not made by professional chefs. I went in on a Friday around 5pm. The place was empty and I asked if I could sit at the counter, they refused my request and I gladly sat at a table. My server was a kind woman but you could tell she was either new or had no idea what she was doing. I spent $200 (sushi and sake). I could barely stomach the Toro nigiri. The rice was mushy and clumped together, the Toro was not fresh enough to serve to customers. I politely asked for a to go box and packed what was left and through it out at the nearest trash can. As a native of Japan, this establishment is a poor representation of my country’s cuisine. Sushi Keiko is a “Cash Grab” operation with little to no interest in the quality of food they are serving. Honestly I feel bad for writing this but I believe it’s important to share my experience there.

Got a couple rolls and some tempura via delivery for a late lunch. Food was not stale or anything but definitely not well made. Rolls were loose and fell apart, and were around Trader Joe’s rolls in terms of flavor. Tempura batter was really thick.

One of the best hidden gem sushi restaurants in D.C. It’s my first time here, I’m from LA and had many kind of sushi restaurants, this location is very fresh, unique, and delicious. The interior is cozy, comfortable and has a great Japanese atmosphere. Customer service was phenomenal and our server, Sidney, was friendly, kind, fast and attentive. The chief knew what they were doing and presented beautiful dishes. My tonkotsu ramen was full of flavor and I loved it. I really enjoyed the fresh sashimi assortments, delightful and delicious. Thank you so much for the great experience and delicious food!

My partner and I ordered lunch from Sushi Keiko today and it was so fresh and delicious! We were happy to see so many veggie options (including a veggie sushi platter and veggie ramen) given that I am pescatarian and my partner is vegan. Everything was packaged neatly and tightly. I was impressed that my miso soup was still hot even though I picked it up about 15 minutes after getting the notification that my order was ready. So happy to have this restaurant in the neighborhood!
