I loved the interior! It’s very Instagram-able but unfortunately with these type of places usually food usually isn’t as good. The meat was too dried out and the add ons (limes and cilantro) were barely there. Hard to top the food in San Francisco but I tried to be open minded. This will help you scratch an itch if you’re craving pho.

Tried my very first pho here and I instantly fell in love with it. Been hooked on it since then. It’s in the food hall on the second floor. You would have to park in the parking garage and it’s an okay distance from it. Pricing is fair. Food is great. My only complain is the extremely rude and nasty attitude the guy gave us. Other than that this location is just okay. But their restaurant that isn’t too far out is honestly 10x better. Would recommend only going there.

Tran An is one of my favorite take out/delivery spots for delicious Vietnamese food. It really hits the spot and the food is prepared with high quality ingredients and balanced flavors.

I am really on the vietnamese pho kick right now. My friend and I were going to another place that we have been to before, but I found Tran An, which is right in our neighborhood. I checked online for review, which were mixed. We stayed, and we ordered the shrimp and pork egg roll. Let’s just say they were well done. I ordered the beef pho, and she ordered the Broken Rice Bowl with pork. My beef pho the broth was not steaming hot like at other places we have tried. The broth was not a rich, flavored beef broth. The meatball was ok but the brisket was delicious. All the veggies were in the bowl when it was brought to the table. I like to add my own, but it was ok. The portion size was small compared to other places. No lime was served, or hot Chili oil was on the table. (I didn’t ask) Rose was our server, and she was great. She was attentive and polite. Great job, Rose. It is a very small place with a limited number of seats, but it was cute. While sitting deciding on what to order, we noticed there was a lot of take out traffic. After we sat to the “booth,” I noticed the velvet seats were filthy. Really need to upgrade the seats. I would visit this place again because the food was decent, the service was great and it is not far from me.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and not go here if you’ve never had pho before. The broth was luke warm and there were hardly any noodles or meat wish they would of kept all the fixings out on the side to show you a better visual. Nothing authentic here.

I had a take out. The size of this soup fit in my cereal bowl. I could fit noodles in my palm, the container with broccoli h was o my 2/3 full. It’s just the broth, fill it up! There was one basil leaf, and no traditional sriracha and hoisin sauce. The broth was just not good, it was so sour, it felt like 3 lemons were squeezed into it.

Horrible food and the server added a tip and didn’t tell me and then flipped the iPad around and asked for a tip, which I obliged. So I ended up tipping 35% to just order food then pick it up and grab my own utensils. Sweet and sour sauce or whatever it was tasted like from a bottle you could buy at the grocery. Not design district quality you’d expect
