Of my goodness. It seemed like it took forever for them to get this up and running but now that it is open oh boy. I do take out like twice a week. The food is always freshly made and so tasty. The beef. The chicken. You have to taste the lamb. And the side orders are a great compliment to the main dishes. Hey, you can enjoy a beer with your meal or while you wait for your order 06.04.23 No hype…just great food.

Driving by. The crowds, the cool glass building caught my eye. I had the gyros with pita chips…came with hummus and cucumber yogurt sauce…also pickled veggie. Portion was generous, gyros a little salty for me…but an enjoyable early Saturday evening dinner. Limited parking lot, had a pullout for takeout pickups. Good prices.

This place is awesome! If you’re ever in Glendale CA. Look them up! Prices are so reasonable for all the food they give you. We tried the tilapia fish and chicken platter, along with the gyros plate. DELICIOUS! WILL BE BACK! you order, sit down at a table afterward and they bring you your food. A+

Great Mediterranean restaurant that’s been around for over 40 years and now has opened a brand new location in the heart of Glendale, CA.

UPDATE: The quality of the food is extremely down this time. The kabob tasted weird and smelled awfully

I can only speak about their kabob. The beef and chicken were so dry that I had to keep drinking water in order to swallow. Kabob should be moist (contain certain percentage of fat). The rice was also dry. I had to add two of the supplied butters to the rice (usually one should suffice) but it didn’t make much difference. As for the tomatoes, I don’t know why a restaurant or kabobery would use unripe white color tomatoes for grilling. Tomatoes didn’t have any taste. They were not ripe and should not have been grilled or given to a customer. Just look at the picture. Waste of money. I won’t go back to this place anymore.

The food and service could have been better all together. The chicken that came with plate #11 was burnt a lot, and the cashier wasn’t too friendly. The restaurant itself was spacious, clean, and nice. But, the parking lot was rather small. I think I’ll opt to have Massis Kabob at a mall next time.

Visited here based on a recommendation and was glad I came… I only did 4 stars because, as others have noted, customer service is a bit lacking here. The restaurant was very clean however and the food was on-point. I had the beef kabob plate and it didn’t disappoint. The meat was tender, super juicy and a great complement of spices. The rice was fluffy and delicious. Hopefully the service side can improve but I’ll definitely try it again.
