I sat at the bar to have breakfast. I was immediately greeted by the server. I was promptly served coffee. And my order was taken quickly. I ordered the Avocado Bacon Benedict, made with two extra-large poached eggs, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, smoked cheddar cheese, toasted English muffin, cayenne citrus hollandaise, scallions, paprika, with a side of potatoes.

First of all I just want to say the staff was very professional, pleasant to be around, and they got our food out fairly quickly. Our waiter constantly had a smile on his face and checked on us frequently. I ordered the Pancake stack with chocolate chips and whipped cream with a side of bacon and a glass of orange juice. The orange juice was velvety smooth and pulpy at the same time and the pancakes were soft and buttery yet very sweet. The bacon was slightly sweet but also meaty and savory, it was cut into 3 thick slices. The atmosphere and decor was also very nice, it had a traditional rustic feel to it and the resteraunt overall just looked very nice, I would highly recommend eating here.

Lovely spot for a meal with family & friends. The atmosphere is casual and cosy. There’s walk-in seating and you can order & pay at the register itself. For the appetizers, I’d recommend the Vindaloo Wings. The Mediterranean Chicken was a little too salty for my taste. There’s a nice assortment of desserts too.

We hosted our baby shower lunch in the Kennedy room at black walnut cafe and it was FANTASTIC! So many of our guests raved about the food and how classy and fancy the shower was. The staff was amazing to work with from start to finish. They provided white linens, gold charger plates, a menu for our guests to order off of, and we had eventfully yours put together a balloon arch and back drop for us (they work often with black walnut cafe and do amazing work too). We are so happy with how everything turned out and recommend hosting your showers here!

A great breakfast/brunch spot with a lot of great options for people of all kinds of diets. This is the first breakfast at place I’ve seen which has a gluten-friendly featured item. They have traditional American breakfast dishes as well as Benedicts and omelettes, and a wide variety of drinks. I had the chef’s breakfast dish and it was delicious – couldn’t even tell it was gluten friendly. We also tried the Nashville Benedict which was amazing and actually pretty light. Overall a fun place with great food; will definitely come back.

Nice place to go eat with family. Lots of people. You order and seat yourself, and someone will bring your food using the order number buzzer. The food was decent, not expensive. Just wasn’t something I’m accustomed too as far as setup of restaurant and how it works.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the end of June at Black Walnut Cafe in The Woodlands, and it couldn’t have gone anymore fun and perfect! The space was great. We had just over 50 people. The food was delicious! There was a small menu with a variety of entrees and desserts. During our event, Melissa was amazing! She kept everything very smooth, and she made sure not only my husband and I were doing well, but also all of our guests. She was wonderful! Even today while a group and I were dining for brunch, she was on top of her game! I highly recommend hosting a wedding rehearsal dinner, wedding shower, baby shower, or any other event at Black Walnut Cafe, and definitely ask for Melissa!

Nicely located with good interiors and decent crowd. We ordered vegetarian omelettes and French toasts. It was ok. It’s big costly compared to other breakfast diners in woodlands.
