House of Chou is our go-to local Chinese restaurant. Usually we order or takeout, but we recently dined in.

Disappointed on the quality and taste of food. Kung pao was blackened with too mush sauce, no flavor.

Delivery order has arrived incomplete multiple times. Also they do not include any sauce with their fried wontons, and the menu doesn’t tell you that. Every Chinese restaurant I have eaten at provides this, at the minimum the menu should warn you that these come without sauce. Dinner has been ruined by this restaurant for the last time.

I would not recommend this place. We got general tsos, chow fun, egg drop soup, and chicken with green bean. The general tsos batter was mushy and the flavor is below average. The Chinese place down the road has better general tsos for cheaper. The egg drop soup, for whatever reason, was red. The chow fun was bland and the noodles were over cooked to the point it was mush, basically disintegrated noodles substance. I haven’t tried the chicken string beans yet, but I have no hope. I would definitely recommend a cheaper place.

I couldn’t give this place a higher rating. Everything is the best. The staff is always friendly and very efficient. Restaurant is nicely decorated and always clean. 10 out of 10

Ordered pickup. Instead of chicken lo mein gave us fried rice. Didn’t realize it until we got home. Driving back now to exchange it because they want the food back. They also did not give us silverware or a single fortune cookie. Do not recommend.

I ordered the orange “beef” which was good sized lightly breaded soy chunks in a super flavorful sauce(not greasy). I was blown away by the texture of the protein, spot on(to chicken) and no weird aftertaste. My Husband wasn’t sure at first which “chicken” was his(he eats meat sometimes). The broccoli in it was cooked very well, soft in the right places with slightly crunchy stems and there were around 8-10 florets while still plenty of “chicken”. There was also orange peel in the sauce which was a nice touch.

Dined inside with my husband. I’m a recent vegan convert and hoped they had options for me. I saw plenty of regular menu items made with tofu and vegetables. What a treat! I ordered the Kung Pao “chicken” that was made with tofu. It was FANTASTIC. I loved it. Good sized portion too. I’m looking forward to trying other favorites too. Many thanks House of Chou.

Absolute worst Chinese food the three of us ever had. Fried rice, Szechuan beef with string beans. General Tso’s and sweet and sour chicken were all disgusting, didn’t even look right.
