Drive thru, 11 am, one car ahead of me. 10 minutes to get to menu, 10 minutes to explain that I wanted: 1 mango lemonade easy ice, one frozen mango lemonade, one regular lemonade extra ice. Took 10 to be served at window. Looked like there was 2 people working up front. Once I got their attention, I asked if I could have a cup of ice because they didn’t give me extra ice, in my lemonade. She said, “we don’t have cups of ice”. Really. I then said to her, but you got my order wrong. She answered by just staring at me and lifting one shoulder. 4th strike. Never going back. Not spending a cent there again. Not an asset to Lemon Grove at all.

A few months a ago maybe 5 stars. But lately, this place has been awful. The wait times are crazy. I waited darn near an hour for 2 pieces of chicken for my kid on 2 separate occasions, In the same week. The young man that packed my food is the only one that hustles and is pleasant upon approach. But the quality has dropped off the past few months. Not to say they’re terrible, but they do need work on the wait times, and speedier service for customers.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD BEWARE!!!!. ZERO STARS!!! Avoid this location and much less use your ATM or credit card here. The employee’s are stealing card information. I went through the drive through on Sunday 5/15/23. The girl at the drive through window took a while to come back to the window. She returned to tell me the card “has been locked”. Which sounded odd to me, how would she know it was locked? There was more than sufficient funds in my account. I payed with cash and as I began to drive away, I received an automated call from my bank telling me my card has been LOCKED due to “suspicious activity” at this location (Popeye’s). I had to call the bank to reactivate my card. A couple days later, I noticed some charges which were not mine. I called the bank to dispute and was told there were 4 other charges attempted that did not go through. One for $120, one for $85, one for $560 and another for $55. I had to cancel my card and now have to wait for several days to receive my new card. Not to mention having to add a new card to ALL my online accounts. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location and these thieves!!

Brand new store and it is awesome. Great layout. They are quick with the food and it was great. Location is clean and seating was perfect. We are inside and there is fun music playing. Will visit again.

This place is among the slowest “fast food” restaurants I have ever been to. There has been a few times I have waited over 20 minutes in the drive thru. Also the process for the food are out of control. Do yourself and travel to a different Popeyes.

Once a week my son and I have lunch at Popeyes we usually order take out. When we got home where I am meal the chicken was old and cold the french fries were so old I just couldn’t believe they served anybody like that. The lemonade frozen strawberry was so watery you would think you were drinking water I call to tell them of the situation. To add insult to injury they told me to bring in the old chicken lemonade along with the receipt that place in Lemon Grove should be shut down. Someone is going to get very very sick That is a four dollar order of french fries shame on you Popeyes
