La Cambusa a family owned byo restaurant serving authentic southern Italian cuisine. Our menu showcases our heritage with simply prepared dishes particular to the Campania region of southern Italy, featuring fresh seafood, homemade pasta, seasonal vegetables and various organic poultry and meats, with a wide selection of homemade desserts. Our dining rooms are spacious a with an upscale casual atmosphere throughout. We cater to a variety of private events accommodating up to eighty guests at once, as well as offering off premise catering and take-out.
We are proud to have served Bergen County top quality Italian food for over 25 years with previous locations in Fair Lawn, Ridgewood, and Garfield, and we hope to see you soon in Wycoff.

When it comes to reviewing Italian restaurants, I’m usually quite critical. Really, how hard is it to make pasta and a protein dish. But, every once in a while I am unexpectedly surprised. La Cambusa is one of those Italian restaurants that blew my socks off. Right as you walk in you are greated very warmly, and the staff continued to charm my wife and I through the entire meal. They were friendly, they were attentive and overall they were great. The decor is modern, but Italian influenced. The crowd and atmosphere was on point, loud enough to talk with your table and not be heard, while quit enough not to cause you to speak loud so you can be heard. The music was great without being intrusive. Now comes the food, the pasta dishes were almost all homemade/made in house, cooked perfectly. The vegetables were fresh, the seafood was incredibly fresh and tasty and overall the food was well seasoned. It was an amazing meal. The menu is fairly priced and the restaurant is BYOB. Which is great, I would much rather bring my own bottle of wine then pay 4 times the retail price for a sub par wine. Overall I highly recommend, I will be back soon.

Friendly service and wonderful food! From the time we walked in the door, the staff made us feel welcome, especially the hostess (Carrie). We ordered lobster ravioli and the sea bass special with calamari and they were superb! Flan for dessert was a highlight! Gluten free pasta available. Will definitely be back

Great experience! We order from variations in the menu to build your surf and turf. Service and food were remarkable. Prices were also reasonable. Our reservations was for 15 people. We spent near to 1k.

Good food in a dreary atmosphere. It felt more like a funeral parlor than a restaurant. The interior is definitely in need of a redesign. Service was okay. A bit pricey. Was hoping for more for the money.

The service was amazing, undeniably. Our server was attentive, although she was extremely busy. The food runners and bus persons were very kind and helpful as well. The food was decent but could have been better, in my opinion. The atmosphere was a bit chaotic. Sound echos in this restaurant, and the chatter from the full house was overwhelming at times, as if it were in stero. If I had gone on a day or at a time when it was less busy, perhaps things would have been more preferable.

Great food. I’ve been there a few times, and I’ve never been disappointed. BYOB helps keep the bill reasonable. Service is good too. If you bring your own alcohol, they will mix drinks for you.

Just moved to the area and this was our first night out and all we can say is WOW. We were instantly greeted by either a manager or the owner who sat us at the bar while we waited for our table. Poured us wine and made us an espresso. Service was great once seated. The food was awesome, desert was just as good! Saved us a ton of money because it’s an BYOB. Will become regulars!!
