I really dont like leaving 1 star reviews but dang, if I could turn back time, I’d preserve my memory of Ike’s to the last time I had it in SF. It was great in memory but I’ll probably never go back now. Bread was stale, produce wasn’t fresh, and the popper dipping sauce was cold and nearly solid. Only ingredients that were decent were the jarred and pickled stuff. Lost my appetite after a few bites. When you’re located in California’s salad bowl, the least you could offer is fresh produce.

Menu has about 5 things that specifically state they can be made vegan. We tried to order two separate things. They were out of both. I tried to order a third and was told they make it vegan just by cutting one of the key ingredients. We decided to go somewhere else.

Ike’s sandwiches are awesome but the guy at the front is alway rude. I’ve been here 4 times recently and every visit he has had attitude. Hopefully the manager will tell him something after reading this review. Bad customer service

We were late for lunch it being around 1:30 p.m., so we stopped at this sandwich shop to get a sandwich. I have my heart set on a pastrami sandwich since my son had just mentioned a pastrami sandwich.

Got a bacon, avocado and turkey with cheese. The bread is really good and they have different options of course. I enjoyed the decor of the place with the classic lunchboxes on the wall. I’m talking the metal joints from back in the day!! So back to the sandwich, overall it was good. I would’ve returned to try others but short on time. The menu is hilarious with all the silly names for example Stiffler’s Mom, LOL! I also thought it was cute that you get a lollipop with your bag. Good sandwich shop overall!

Sandwiches are fire, but its like they never have fried chicken here. Every time I come here they they always tell me, “no fried chicken today” so disappointed. And the employees here hate there lives, horrible service.

I ordered a sandwich with pickles. I got hone and opened my sandwich and it had peppercini on the sandwich. I had to throw it away because I don’t like those. It ruined my whole sandwich.

Overpriced food sloppily thrown together. We wanted to try something new and we’re excited by the huge range of offerings. Ordered two sandwiches and two sides. My sandwich was missing tomatoes, bread wasn’t toasted and the amount of meat was skimpy compared to other sandwich chains. Partners sandwich was made hastily with most of the meat to one side. I watched as the sandwich maker finished the sandwich, wrapped it, then realized he forgot the lettuce, half unwrapped it to throw lettuce on and rewrapped it. Needless to say it was a mess. Paid almost ten dollars for two sides (see picture) that we’re smaller than a 99¢ fry. Bill was almost 35 dollars. Deeply dissapointed, will not be returning. Looking forward to that other sandwich shop opening soon.

I’ve been to the Ike’s in San Jose and they’re awesome! This location is the complete opposite of that. Ordered the Menage a Trois and the Dutch crunch was soggy, chicken was cold and they gave me no sauce on the side AND inside the sandwich when I clearly asked and inputted in the order “No sauce in sandwich, Sauce on the side” don’t go to this location if you want the Ike’s experience, it’ll just end up disappointing you.
